Blue Dog Steakery

My wife and I went to the blue dog steakery this evening for our date. We were greeted as soon as we got through the door with smiles and all of the staff was really nice. We had the "soup flight" with all in house made soups! We had potato, chili, and french onion soup that were in their own individual bread bowls. We also tried the original smash burger with their "in house made chips" and The Western smash burger that was complete with onion straws! Both came loaded with all the fixins and were phenomenal, however The Western smash burger was the talk of the two! It came with barbecue sauce that really set the burger off! We were both very pleased with our visit and highly recommend giving them a try! I know we'll be back!

Three of us went here for dinner the other night. Everything on the menu is homemade. The salad bar was good. The ham and bean soup was the best I've ever had. The young ladies waiting on us were great. The place is clean and spacious. The food was phenomenal.

Searching the area for a non-chain restaurant for supper and came upon the Blue Dog!

Had the 10oz sirloin, it was delicious! Next visit I'll have the XXXL tenderloin but I was in a steak mood. The waitress was incredible and attentive. The owners and cook all came to the table and visited with us. Wonderful experience.

Food came out fast. Priced fairly. Even had dessert. All 10's from me! Will definitely be back.

Honestly was a very nice experience, I worried with being new they would still be catching up to speed but my service was great! Lena was very lovely and attentive. She was also so kind helping my fiancé out with accommodating his vegetarian diet. The food was delicious and the salad bar was set with great options, especially for a good price. Definitely will be going back 🙂

The restaurant has a great and friendly atmosphere. The place is clean, spacious and cute and the service was excellent. The food was very delicious and they have lots of fun options to choose from!

Had a great lunch. Food was great, service was excellent. Priced avg with most other restaurant/bar. Home made chips were the bomb.

Went with a group of friends for Sunday lunch. Loved the atmosphere and staff was very friendly. Got drink orders pretty quickly. We did have a bit of a delay in getting our food out but the food was EXCELLENT! Remembering they are newly reopened the experience was great. I will go back.

The food was wonderful and the staff was great! The owners were so friendly and went to every table to make sure everyone was spoken to and asked about their food.
Please be patient everyone! They have just opened and are getting themselves settled in. Don’t be cruel and judgmental! Be kind and thankful they are talking a HUGE chance on Lincoln!!! If you don’t care for something, tell them!!! They will try and fix it!!! Don’t bad mouth them!!!

Seated quickly, waitress consistently kept drinks full.
Food was hot and was one of the best hamburgers I’ve had! Hand-pressed patties are always a plus.
The homemade chips were so good, I’d go back just to order a side of those!
10/10, will absolutely be back.

Awesome food, very good service, clean beautiful settings,. This was my first time visiting establishment and I can say this ,I recommend going there for any kinda of meal your wanting, guaranteed you will leave full happy and ready for nap, , I put this restaurant #1 for now on when deciding where to eat

The salad-soup- baked potato bar is phenomenal With a meal it is quite a bit less expensive. I had the BLT sandwich. It is grilled and comes with home made potato chips. Their milk bread rolls are amazing. Needless to say, I didn't take full advantage of the salad bar as the sandwich and chips left no room for much else.

My wife and I did a little downtown shopping in Lincoln. We had a few restaurants to choose from. We both loved the atmosphere and the warm welcome from the employees. Our waiter was great and the food was awesome. I had the Philly steak sandwich with fries. Everything was hot and delicious when it came out, so it made for a great day in Lincoln.

I travel to Lincoln once a week for work. Finding this hidden gem has made my hump days bearable. Meatloaf was just like my Granny's. Fast and friendly service!

We came in for our first time at lunch food was awesome ! Our waitress was Lena and she did an amazing job super nice and sweet ! Definitely recommend food and service is great ! Great place to eat in Lincoln!
