Rio Grande

We had Rio Grande take out tonight, it was amazing!!! Every detail of our order was perfect and really hit the spot!!

I am from out of town but have been able to eat here twice now. Staff has always been friendly. Food is served promptly. I will keep this place on the list for the next time I am in town. Also the volume of beverage and the vessel it is served in entertains me to no end.

I was visiting friends in Lincoln & we decided to go to supper before I left town. Apparently, they frequently patronize Rio Grande. I know why: we were seated immediately, the waiter got us drinks & then took our order. The chips were hot & the salsa cold. We barely got started when our entrees were served. Each of us had something different and everyone gave the food two thumbs up.

We had always made the Rio Grande a stop for lunch when traveling to visit family in St. Louis. When they were no longer at the location just off the highway, we were disappointed. Now that they are in a new location in the old business district in Lincoln, we will definitely drive into town for lunch.
The food is always delicious & plentiful. My husband loves the chili rellanos & the chimichanga I had was huge & delicious. Our son even loves our leftovers.
Staff was friendly, helpful & attentive enough.
We are so glad that the Rio Grande is still open.

Outstanding service and authentic Mexican food. The entire restaurant was immaculate and decorated with vivid painted wood carvings of traditional Mexican culture. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Beyond amazing! You could tell the food was actually made in the restaurant. The cheese sauce was great and the margaritas were strong! On top of fast and friendly service. The owner came out and talked to us for a few minutes. We will definitely be back.

We visit everytume we're in the area! They customize the food exactly how you want! I wanted a taco with chorizo, pastor, and cheese. I asked if they could add the Pina(pineapple) sauce/marinade, and they Did! It was amazing, to say the least! Definitely, refer this restaurant!

Enjoyed our food in the outdoor garden. The food was excellent! Love the pint size pitchers the beverages are served in.

Rio Grande in Lincoln, IL, offers a fantastic atmosphere complemented by delicious Mexican cuisine. We had the sizzling fajitas, and feliz enchiladas, the flavors were very good and well thought out. The combination of great food and a wonderful atmosphere makes Rio Grande a must-visit spot in Lincoln for a memorable dining experience. Not to mention the pitcher sized sodas. Great idea.

Daniel was our server and he was awesome! He was fast and friendly. If the amazing food doesn't have you coming back the incredible staff will. Added bonus... The pretty decor. We live 50 miles away but we have been here many times and will continue to come when we are in the area.

The food here is amazing, better than the other Mexican places in town. They recently moved near the square in town, across from Sir Renna Tea. The people there are amazing and they have great customer service. Always attentive and honestly they are just friendly. My family and I go there every couple weeks for a night out. We usually always get the same two waiters and they are amazing and treat my family great. On top of that the food comes out hot and ready to eat and the smells fill the restaurant. Just typing this up has created an appetite for me and I could really go for some good authentic Mexican food! I guess I will have to hit up Rio Grande soon!
