Jeff and VJ and the crew there are top of the line. From service quality to timeliness to sales and just being avid cyclists I couldn’t recommend a better shop. I started using them 3 years ago and I feel like family when I walk in. Incredible knowledge, extensive service list and very affordable. I recommend them to anybody!

My wife and I purchased a set of bicycles, the Owner and his staff was very professional and friendly with us. The owner was EXTREMELY patient with us, as his store had closed a hour ago and we did not feel rushed at all. I would HIGHLY recommend Main Street Bicycles. We had visited the the shop a few times afterwards and received the same degree of service.

Bike mechanic Jeff was able to assess right away that my new chain was installed incorrectly, as well as a couple other key items that needed adjusting. He fixed them in less than 15 minutes for only $10. Jeff saved me from potential danger and damges in the future, for which I’m deeply grateful.

Last Saturday I was on a scheduled 30 mile ride and at Elgin my rear brake failed. I turned around heading back to Algonquin at took a chance at Main Street Bike to see if they could help me out. The store and shop was busy and within 1 minute VJ asked if i needed any help. I explained my situation and VJ told me to bring in my bike. VJ stopped a bike build to fix my bike so I could safely ride back home. in less than 20 minutes I was back on the road! the repair cost was very fair. I definitely will be back for service and for accessories.

Extremely friendly staff! Very knowledgeable and patient. I haven’t owned a bike in a very long time and they didn’t try to upsell me on stuff I didn’t need nor push me onto a bike that would be out of my realm for use. They assembled all of the accessories for me at time of purchase and less then 15 minutes later my bike was ready to go! Overall wonderful experience, will be sending friends and family their way and I will go to Main Street Bicycles for all of my maintenance needs!

Was riding by with a group on a busy Saturday and stopped in for a needed unplanned repair. Jeff had the right parts on hand and had us going again in a few minutes. Wish Jeff and his business continued success and HIGHLY recommend.

Was on the FRT today and my front rotor got wonky. Pulled in and and they fixed me up on the fly. Great friendly service and a great shop I'll be visiting more often.

I dragged my injured bike into MSB fully expecting to leave it, as I wasn't even sure where the debilitating rub was. The technician ( I wish I had gotten his name) put it on the rack, took a look, grabbed his wrench, and badda bing, all fixed. I waited to see how much I owed; he just waved his hand and said , "Go enjoy your bike." Ya gotta love it.

Jeff and team are always reasonably priced, fast, friendly and patient. They've helped me with many part installs I didn't have the tools or time to do myself. Will be back for future service and sales. Highly recommend.

Past two days we dropped in with my daughters' bikes. Both needed easy fixes and they got us in with the best service

I came here from an hour away to look at bike that I was interested in purchasing. I called ahead and they confirmed they had it and I drove down the same day. I talked with Jeff and he showed me the bike and we chatted for a little. Took it for a test ride and he also allowed me to try a different saddle on the bike. Just a great experience overall. No high pressure sales and he honored the online pricing special the manufacturer was offering without me even asking. The shop is also really organized and just an awesome vibe when you walk in the place with lots of variety and some really cool older parts and bikes available for sale as well.

In ten minutes they put a new tube in my tire and I was on my way for under $20. Great service!

Great bike shop. I purchased my first road bike here and they have supported me through all the mishaps and learning that accompany picking up a new hobby. I would highly recommend stopping by and getting to know them.

I recently did a complete tune-up and installation of CushCore inserts on my full-suspension MTB. VJ did an amazing job with attention to the smallest detail. Jeff is always there to answer any questions. I'm newer to mountain biking and tried a few different places in the area and Main Street Bicycles is the best!

Outstanding customer service! I called (Jeff) a couple of days ago regarding a rear hydraulic brake squeaking (Aventon Pace 500), I found him to be polite, very knowledgeable, patient, and with a helpful demeanor. I brought my bike in this am and was warmly greeted by (VJ). He was busy at the time repairing a bike, however, he offered to take a look at my bike for me. He proceeded to pull it into the repair bay, and went right to work on it. After some adjustments were made - problem resolved! Once again, I found VJ to be polite towards me, knowledgeable, and obviously very helpful! I was charged $15 (as Jeff suggested if the problem was minor) for his time and talent - what an “honest” price policy! Honesty and integrity are wonderful attributes to be found in any business. Main Street Bicycles exhibited this trait with me this morning!

I will inform my friends and neighbor, I highly recommend this bike shop! Please consider them for your needs as well.

Final thought: They fly the American Flag on their building - I love this!
