Ohana Grill Hawaiian BBQ

This restaurant has SUCH bomb food. For an appetizer I got the dumplings. Perfectly crispy with a delicious filling, served with a sweet chili sauce. For my entree I got the hawaain bbq chicken with white rice, and macaroni salad . It was Perfect. sweet, tangy, saucy, and the perfect amount of chicken. The macaroni salad is the epitome of comfort food. I recommend this family owned and operated restaurant to everyone!!!! Located on main street, you can park behind the resturant, in the old market on main street parking lot.

Best food around and a rare gem for this area. Super friendly staff. Huge portions for the price.

To drink, I tried the taro bubble tea and was surprised by their huge cups and tapioca (& extra jelly).

As an appetizers, I tried the beef egg roll and I had to put it down because those can fill you up, the order brings 6. For dinner, I ate the Aloha Mix #1 (beef kalbi & chicken) with macaroni salad and white rice 😋 .

I was thrilled to find Hawaiian food in Ottumwa, but since I'd just gotten back from a trip to see family in Hawaii, I was also a little worried about whether it would hold up to immediate comparison. I shouldn't have worried. :) The food was lovely, servings were generous, staff was pleasant and efficient, and I absolutely felt like I could have been eating on island.

I am always afraid to try something new. But this place is amazing! The Hawaiian bbq chicken and noodles are to die for. And if you go, please do yourself a favor and get the strawberry bubble drink. Best smoothie hands down!! Great and helpful and such friendly staff!

Tried Ohana’s BBQ this evening. Wow!! So much more then I expected. I was stationed in the Pacific for 8 years and there food reminded me of good island grub. The chicken curry reminded me of what I got years ago. My husband had the Chicken Katsu. Very good as well. It has the katsu sauce with a horsey mayo sauce as well. My daughter got the Kalua pork. Very taster as well. We will be coming back. It’s still new so there are kinks to work out but the food is great so far!!!

First time eating here was last night. Food was spot on. Big portions. Fried dumpings, beef egg rolls, Ox tail soup. Soooo delicious. I'm eating leftovers now. We are staying at Ottumwa hotel, you get a free breakfast. I sent my boyfriend down to eat by himself because I knew I was going to eat leftovers from Ohana.

If you haven't had Ohana yet, I HIGHLY recommend you try it out! Great food and very authentic. I don't even like Egg rolls, and I love their egg rolls! Very great place with fast and friendly service

The food is very good (highly recommend their bbq combinations), the egg rolls are superb, and I love love their bubble teas.Very nice and friendly people. Can’t wait to try all their menus.

First time in and I tried the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken and Spam Musubi. They were both delicious! Even the cold macaroni salad that came with the chicken was good!
