Very interesting atmosphere in this downtown Ottumwa bar. Tom Tom is referencing its native theme, with replica artifacts on display. There is a large glowing art piece that has historical significance as a centerpiece. Ask the bartender for details. A fun place to have a drink!

Really great and fun atmosphere. A nice place to relax. First time in the area and hotel guest; I came here for a drink after a long drive. Shelby behind the bar was very welcoming, professional, prompt, and friendly. She made me feel like I was at home. She gave me several locations of interest to see while I was in town and went above and beyond.

The drinks are great! I recommend the Maker's Whisky Sour and the Bloody Mary.

They have a wide selection on their menu. I had what I would call a roast beef Manhattan and it was very good although it's called something else on their menu.

Really good beer selection as well. Also, every booth had USB charging stations and also all around the bar. First time I've seen this, but it's brilliant!

Happy hour on a Tuesday! Tenderloins and bloody marys!!!!! I brought my out of town guest here to experience the heart of downtown ottumwa. I love coming in cause I always find someone I know. The food is great, and when the ticket comes in, I'm always amazed at how inexpensive my evening was.

This place is so cozy, and the food is the Hotel Ottumwa menu, so you know it’s good!I love that they have breakfast all day! We came here one rainy, Sunday evening that no place else was open (except for fast food), and it did not disappoint! I always get the make-your-own omelet!

I stayed in the hotel that the bar is in. Ordered a Ruben and it was delicious! I would highly recommend. Staff was nice and fast service.

This is the coolest little restaurant/bar/lounge I've been to in quite some time. Part of the historic hotel, I carries with it a feel of nostalgia that rare but so welcome. The service was above and beyond, the food was great and very reasonably priced. Completely unpretentious and inviting, and (at least for this visit) Classic Rock can be heard Playing on the sound system. I had a Sirloin steak, grilled a perfect medium, with two sides for $10!

What this small vintage style bar lacks in updated style, it makes up for nicely in character. The bartender was spectacular. She made amazing drinks. She could make anything we requested, with a personable and relaxed attitude. A regular patron recommended her favorite drink, which we also tried and enjoyed. You could relax alone, with a group of friends or make some new ones. this place and people are full of character and is a must stop 🛑

A must visit in Ottumwa. A real vintage 50s lounge in a classic hotel. The food is amazing. Every last thing I had was amazing. The reuben was the best I've ever had. The steak quesadilla just made my mouth drop. The bartender Courtney is who you wanna see about a cocktail. She's the best.

Great bar! Stopped through on a road trip. DELICIOUS burger (I got The Works and added pickles). Very friendly staff!!! All three folks that spoke with me smiled and joked with me, and service/food was out almost as soon as I ordered it.

Classic bar layout, also. Central large half-circle bar, with tables surrounding. Efficient, and open. Beautiful mural behind the bar.

Service was amazing. Had the Ribeye steak it was wonderful. Courtney was our bartender she makes the most awesome drinks. Can't wait to come back again and visit

Strong drinks, love happy hour, nice and friendly staff, and I love the laid back, calm atmosphere and NATIVE decorations. Plus you can get food from my favorite cafe, 2nd St.

Great resteraunt and bar excellent staff! Food was great and was there before I even thought about it. Behind the bar Nicole was very cheerful, funny, and polite. A great place to eat!!

This bar Is what I would say is more upscale in ottumwa. Not really a young rowdy bar but a great place to chill and have a couple beers. The mixed drinks are pretty good too
