A much needed and excellent addition to Downtown Old Saybrook and Area. A proper cigar store/lounge, located in Historic building, in waking distance to local iconic bars and eateries will certainly take edge off when visiting family!

This place is great !!! Incredible atmosphere, live music, open mic, contests and sometimes even stand up comedy. Solid stick selection. Bring your own drinks but nice kitchen with real glasses not plastic cups so you can enjoy your drink. All I can say is... Finally!!!

Situated in a historic building on Main Street in Old Saybrook, Bongo Ron’s has brought my interest in cigars to the next level. With his and his teams’ expert recommendations, I have found myself enjoying some of the best sticks around with some of the best cigar equipment accompanying them. They have a very well stocked humidor, with room to move around in! Tons of options; from the super exclusive items to the daily grabs.

The back Tiki Porch is a great place to gather with friends, sling some drinks you brought and enjoy your smoke. The indoor lounges are island themed, so charming and, as expected, the hint of cigar tobacco is everywhere. I love it.

Even if you’re just grabbing a quick weekend smoke, Ron and his team are a wealth of knowledge to pinpoint your preferred sticks.

This place is exactly what one would look for in a cigar lounge. Ron, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable, the atmosphere is extremely relaxed. It's byob, with coffee abs soft drinks available on site.

I just went for the first time today and I was very impressed. The women at he counter was very knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable and I love the BYOB option. They had a big selection at reasonable prices. I will definitely be back.

This is a fantastic shop. I had one cigar that was plugged. Ron was amazing -- immediately gave me something nicer in exchange and knew exactly what I'd like based on my tastes. Incredible customer service and knowledge!

The owner was very knowledgeable of the cigars. I wanted a light smooth cigar that o companied scotch whiskey, and his recommendation was perfect. Will definitely shop their again and I recommend this shop for amateur and experienced cigar smokers.

Bongo Ron's is amazing! They have a variety of cigars, many which are hard to find in Connecticut. The only times I have come so far are when Ron himself is running the register. His knowledge of the science of cigars and humidors is out of this world and he is very passionate about good sticks and the industry as a whole. He genuinely spends time with you to learn your tastes and teaches you about the different tobacco combinations to help steer you towards the best sticks for you. The friendly atmosphere, from both the employees and patrons alike, make the experience here even better. I'm looking forward to my next trip!

Went in and grabbed 3 cigars ranging from $2 to $20. The owner was very nice, and the lounge was clean and comfortable. The selection in the humidor was a really nice mix as well.

I couldn't recommend this place enough! It is cool, calm and relaxing! Everything I expect out of a cigar shop! The owners are extremely nice, knowledgable and friendly. They remember what my husband and I bought the last time we were there and if we liked it, if we didnt and how they could do better in their recommendations.
