I am beyond grateful for the services from Sinnott Funeral Home. Bob answered all of my questions regarding my Dad’s Celebration of Life. He was kind, patient, knowledgeable and made it easy to choose them for their services. I am very humble that they took words we used in the obituary and applied that to background pictures in the guestbook. It was beautiful and it was my Dad! Thank you Sinnott Funeral home for those beautiful touches!! They meant a lot to us!

Staff at Sinnott Funeral Home has been very helpful to our family even before needing funeral services. They helped us with getting insurance coverage for our loved ones and recently provided funeral services for one of our loved one. This funeral home is beautiful and has a homey feel to it. Bob was so wonderful to work with and so sympathetic. I very much appreciated the funeral director taking the time to really answer my questions and explain the process to me. He did an excellent job disclosing the full cost of services and walking me through the steps I needed to take. It helped my peace of mind to know that everything was in good hands. I will definitely use thier services again. Hopefully not for a while!

As my experience with this funeral home was amazing. Not only are they very nice to work with in our time of sorrow, but they are very inexpensive also. They let us ask as many questions as we needed to. We were able to text them whenever there was a question or e-mail them. If anyone needs their service I would greatly recommend them.

I would highly recommend Sinnott's Funeral Home in Ottumwa. My father passed away Nov 2020 and we were VERY pleased with their kindness, concern, and excellent services. We had previously met with Bob (Sinnott) and made pre-arrangements so it was very simple to move forward when he passed. Their Ottumwa location is beautiful! The building is fully remodeled and it was the former church my father attended his whole life...which made it very special. They recorded the service as well as live-stream on Facebook. We used their banquet room and had a catering service. We gave them pictures and they made a beautiful slide show. Their staff was extremely kind and professional. This was all during Covid restrictions and we felt very fortunate to have chosen Sinnott's Funeral Home.

They were very professional and answered all our questions. Even dealt with my sister on texts and emails. Everything we asked about they had answers. The urn is so beautiful and it's exactly what my dad would like. They took things from the obituary and used it for the background in the guestbook. Every little touch they did touched my heart with happiness. Thank you so much for everything, you've made this hard time slot less stressful.

Sinnott was extremely helpful in our process and the laying to rest of our father Stephen E. Cox. They where understandable and kept up with all our craziness. They where also respectful of our requests as they came up. Including a paul bearers vehicle at the last moment. I thank you guys so much for your help.

Mr. Sinnott and his staff are so very kind and very very helpful!!!!! Mr. Sinnott answered every question I asked no matter how many times I asked it. They are there for EVERY FAMILY. They took car3 of my brothers cremation at last minute. Definitely a place that was relaxing during this hard time for my family. I highly recommend them.

Bob was fantastic and very accommodating. He made everything very easy for me which was all I could ask for with the loss of my parents this year.
