Kimberly Brown, ARNP

I adore Kim, in every way. She has always been extremely attentive. Takes her time to listen to all of my concerns and anwser all of my questions. She remembers personal information about my life and always asks about my kids and what is going on in my life. She came highly recommended to me when I moved to the Ottumwa area, and I am so glad she was.

I would not have Kimberly Brown attend my loved one. She is snarky and self-important. Gave my mom sub-standard care. Updated 1/16/23 - The information is Kim Brown worked with my mom who was a resident of Good Samaritan. I was mom's representative in every way on paper. Kim Brown came to hospice the day my mom arrived and immediately put her on morphine without discussing anything with me. I was in the room and she didn't look at me or talk to me or acknowledge me in any way. I was left to discuss it with the hospice nurses as I felt Kim Brown was not approachable. My mom was at hospice for several weeks and I never saw Kim Brown again. Previous to that I had called Kim Brown about a change to my mom's medication. When she called me back the phone disconnected almost immediately. She called me back again and accused me of hanging up on her. I was so shocked that a professional could be so spiteful and self-important. The conversation was then snarky on her part. I was trying to do my best for my mom so I didn't make any waves. I asked mom if Kim Brown is always like this and she said, Oh yes. My mom had things to say about her care, but this is what I know personally.
