Hunters hardwear is really cool when u first go inside they have the old wood floors.
The second you walk in the door they ask can they help you. They have alot of items. Probably millions. Nails screws woodstoves faulcets i mean its an oldtime store. You can get the screws in Bulk by the pound. They have Paint products drywall products. Its a very big store i think they have everything lol. But service is good they really care about the customer.

Old school hardware store. Danny is very friendly and cheerful. Prices are a little high. I appreciate that they allow 4H kids to display their projects and they allow Morgan Arts council to display quilts. Very nice people. I also like the window display at Christmas time.

We moved to Berkeley Springs in Nov. 2021. After the post office, Hunter’s was my first stop. Since that first day, I’ve shopped there dozens of times and know many of the staff on a first-name basis. When I pulled out my grandfather’s old .22 rifle for servicing, everyone in the store pointed to young Jaden as an absolute expert on firearms. He serviced the rifle and gave me lots of great advice about maintaining it.

I still have to go to Home Depot or Lowe’s occasionally, but my first stop is always Hunter’s. Like the David Wilcox song says, “you go first to at age-old place, to those old wooden doors that you have to close behind you, to the wide board wooden floors worn down soft, to the real thing, the good advice, the quality at a fair price, and know that they know how deep the frost goes here…”

Helpful & knowledgeable staff, lots and lots here! Much bigger than it looks.

This is a wonderful old place with polite people who really know their stuff. They have all kinds of stuff for older homes you will never find in Lowe's or Home depot. They also have an excellent assortment of pistols and rifles. You can even get a nice pink shotgun for your girlfriend there

Great little hardware store. Wonderful variety of goods. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. They seem to carry things which most standard hardware stores don't and even after I find what I need it's fun to keep looking around at all the goodies.

Hunter's Hardware is a great locally-owned hardware store. It is right in downtown Berkeley Springs and has just about anything you might need. The staff is reasonable and helpful and I didn't have issues with any prices.

Been looking for thru the wall stove pipe kit. No big box stores had them. And Hunter Hardware had 2 in stock. I am extremely happy and so are our parents. Will shop here more often for needed hardware.

Love this store great customer service they always have what I need especially when I'm in a hurry its right there don't have to search yah! They are always very helpful too 😊! Very helpful for me, and friendly. I don't know my way around a hardware store really, and the man was extremely patient and kind. I got what I needed without much fuss. Also I love that Hunter is running the Christmas decorations in town. We should all stand behind that!

Wonderful extremely old building with hardware store inside. The inside could be right out of an old west Appalachian movie. But in addition they have the hard to find items you'll never find in a modern big box store. Worth the trip.

My first time there, real cool gun shop and hardware store. Very old and vintage in a great way! Probably have one of everything in this place, very friendly service. Can't wait to go back and take more time shopping around just to try and see what all they do sell.

Great place to find almost anything you need in the country not big quantity but very helpful know what you really need to fix things and will even help you with instructions or referrals to local people to do the repair Gentle they carry all fishing, hunting and trapping items even Guns. So stop in for sure and be amazed.

Rare to find old huge hardware store. They have just about everything hardware wise. Seeds for gardens, screws for drywall etc. Has a limited amount of wood n trim. Over great old friendly hardware store. And its millions of different items in stock. Stop by just to see what it was like in the old days before the big store. I support local business when i can. 5 stars from this gal.

Only needed keys made, but love this place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. And they have everthing like your little old hometown hardware store that doesn't exist anymore. No big box figure it out yourself kind of place.

Love to go into classic hardware stores like this. They got about anything you want and the folks there are super nice and helpful in locating stuff.... So don't be afraid you ask!
