Diners, Drive Ins & Dives worthy! Absolutely amazing menu! If you are traveling along this stretch of Rt. 68 (just beyond the Rt. 70 split) you need to check this place out for yourself. The food is fantastic, the decor is perfect and everyone is friendly. Will stop here whenever I am anywhere nearby!

Oak Barrel was completely unexpected! I've never had such delicious food at a gas station! If you need a break on your road trip, this is the place to stop. From food and drinks that are handcrafted, to old time gifts from the road. Oak Barrel Cafe is like a mini vacation!

Not your average restaurant attached to a gas station. Homemade delicious food, quick service. Also an upgraded coffee shop, and ice cream store. Vintage sodas and candies. What a lovely way to end weekend in the mountains.

Great place to pick up pie, ice cream, nuts and travel food with a unique broad menu that can be tailored to vegetarians. It's off the highway just enough to be peaceful with a last taste of the mountains but easy access. Outdoor eating.

Newly remodeled and is old school country atmosphere. Clean bathrooms. Lots of snacks, drinks, wine, beer, coffee, sodas etc. Also gas stations access.

Wow! What a spot. I was recommended here by a local and decided to give it a try since I was in the area. I gotta say, the food was 10/10! No doubt. Spoke w the employee and simply asked about their famous options. We went w the Kickin' chicken wrap, and a cheese steak, and I gotta give it to the cheese steak, it was top notch! Would definitely be returning.

One very unique stop for a road trip. They have a great variety of local products. All the cakes and baked products are delicious. Incredible the different flavors of moonshine they offer. There is a convenient store and a restaurant on the side.

I originally stopped to get gas and walked inside to buy a Gatorade and was hit with all the baked goods. Ordered a chicken wrap from the cafe and it was super delicious. Customer service was amazing. I ended up buying cheesecake as well. I told them I was some distance from home and they offered to put the cheesecake on ice.

This place is a hidden gems in mountains. I go to Virginia to Cumberland once or twice a week and I try to stop here and grab a piece of cake or cheesecake every time. They are the masters 9f a cake. Just wow. I have tried at least 10 and each one has been great to the best I've ever had on a few types of the cake. You will not regret it.

First off. I just stopped to get gas. I went to use the bathroom and seen just how good the food looked. I went outside. I asked my girl and brother to come check out the deserts because they looked great. I bought 2 different cheesecakes. I tried one the next day after dinner. For 7.99 these are worth every penny. We loved them.

The BEST cheesecake! We look forward to stopping there about every two weeks at least! It's a little Exxon Station with a cafe and everything is OUTSTANDING!! I don't know how they do it but I hope they never stop!! Their bowls are really good, the burgers, the Baja, I haven't had anything I didn't like!

Never heard of this place, but needed gas and some food and the exit was just right.

Lots of charm with this place....the food was good. If you like or simply want to try moonshine, they have several different variety to buy.

Would definitely go back. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a good "One-Stop" for food, fuel and a break.

My husband and I stopped in for food and bathroom break. Ladies room was clean. Staff was very friendly and I had the best piece of cake I've ever had in my life! Pistachio, yum.

very delicious food, if you stop by make sure to leave room for dessert. the black forest cheesecake was delicious and had a large portion size. the drinks are very good, i tried the lemonade and the sweet tea and they were both delicious.

Best gas station ever! They have such a great variety of sodas, cheesecakes and snacks, plus the food was great as well and the staff were so friendly. Will always be stopping by in the future when I'm in the area!

A very old school theme place & friendly staff. Had to work on a unit trailer that was parked out back. Went inside after being done got a coffee & a bump & was ready to rock out the door much needed & appreciated. Will be back in the future for more business.

Hidden gem! Avoid McDonald’s or any fast-food stop on your drive and come here. Their staff is also so lovely!

Definitely worth a stop for a bite to eat, food quality and service much greater than anything near by. Surprising for what appears to merely be a gas station. Highly recommend the reuben, it is the best I've ever had. The Surf and Turf burger is incredibly tasty, well worth the cost.
The pies and other deserts appear to be too pricey at first glance, but they're worth it. Fresh and flavorful.
