Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston

Went for symposium. Spent a night nice quiet comfortable rooms. Evening reception nice bonus. Lots of room to relax down stairs have your cocktail and snacks. Symposium was nice. Supplied a nice assortment of drinks, snacks, and lunch. Highly recommend and affordable.

Just stopped for the night on our way traveling to Florida. They had a room for us. Staff was so helpful and went above and beyond in helping us with parking, directions and info. The rooms were excellent. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. No weird smells , appropriate temperature and very clean. Coffee and breakfast in the morning was delicious with made to order omelets. It was complimentary. Beautiful hotel and the price was appropriate. Room was extremely quiet.

Lovely lobby! Nice suites! Even though the lobby echoes the rooms are quiet. Being downtown parking is challenging. But the reserved spaces in the lot behind work fine. Construction made entering and exiting a little challenging. But we had a lovely weekend.

Our stay was GREAT. We only stayed for one night but the level of care was exceptional. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast exceeded our expectations.

We attended a conference at the hotel. We stayed in room 715.
We want to thank 4 staff members that really stood out in providing excellent service during our stay.
Ann at the front desk checked us in and assisted us throughout our stay.
Doug and Brian in food services were exceptionally friendly and accommodating in their service, and lastly Toni in maintenance, who quickly responded to our non-working room door that sranded us in the hallway on a Saturday night.

Had a mother/daughter weekend. My son also joined us, such wonderful weekend. The rooms were beautiful. Service outstanding. I wish we would have ate in the hotel both nights. The food was much better than the place across the street. The breakfast was very good and so was the welcome reception. I have no complaints about our stay.

The hotel rooms were very nice and clean. Everything you can need. They did offer us 2 complimentary drinks per person, which was nice. Everyone was very nice. They offer free complimentary breakfast, they have a small bar, a restaurant and they have free parking.

We were traveling and needed to stop for the night. Embassy Suites allowed for pets. What a wonderful experience we had. The rooms were clean and fresh. The service was outstanding and the breakfast was 100% better than Holiday Inn.

We had a lovely stay at Embassy Suites during our trip to Charleston. The rooms are clean and bright, the staff is incredibly helpful, and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. It's centrally located, which makes it very easy to visit all of the great shops and restaurants downtown. If you're visiting the area, we definitely recommend staying here!

Unique structure that is very well kept, clean, and with the most helpful staff. 2rm double suite was very roomy. Restaurant and morning buffet were both excellent. 2 free drinks manager's happy hour was a delightful bonus! I wish I had more businesses in Charleston because I would definitely stay here again!

Staff were super helpful and friendly, room was comfortable and clean, quite spacious with a great view of the surrounds. Appreciated the hotel's specific dedication to better air quality and filtered shower water, having been in other places where things like mold and dust and extremely chlorinated water were detractors.

My son attended a weekend conference here; we did not stay in the hotel as we are local. The facilities were excellent and the meals and snacks provided were top notch! The oatmeal cookies were a favourite, especially with the coffee (which was EXCELLENT)!

This hotel was an amazing experience and has changed my choice of Hilton Brands as my go to for couple or solo travel. The rooms were large spacious clean and well stocked. The foyer is always impressive, but this one even more so. The front desk staff did a great job with us, but the most extraordinary service came from the bar and restaurant staff.

Frankie the bartender made the absolute best Negroni I have ever had. Perfectly balanced and garnished with a full slice of orange as it should be. The staff at 1863 were great as well, I didn’t get food photos but it was good, freshly prepared and tasty. I wouldn’t call the food five star restaurant quality but it was definitely good enough to not go hunting for an alternative.
The only downside to this hotel was the parking. It was 15 a night which isn’t bad , but there was no visible safe pedestrian path to the hotel.

It was very nice, and they offer two complimentary drinks at the bar per night! The room I stayed in was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The service was great and everyone was professional.

Our daughter's wedding party stayed at the Embassy Suites in Charleston the night before her wedding and had an amazing experience. Mary Adams, the Sales Manager at Embassy Suites, was great to work with! They helped accommodate a last minute booking for one of our wedding guest who needed a room and made everything run seamless!

We were a bit wary about an Embassy Suites reservation which - although years ago we loved them - have had an unpleasant experience earlier on our road trip. This one in Charleston is truly EXCELLENT! Looks like it's been recently remodeled and more importantly - Jerry was so great in helping us in with our multiple suitcases. Nice big fully functional suite!

Thank you to the staff and the helpful front desk personnel during check in. I want to highlight Mr. Marvin Davis who was being spoke to so rudely by some foul mouthed guest who used the most abusive language and refused to listen. Even after other guest and staff attempted to help her she continued to berate and treat this man with dis respect. Threw it all he was professional, kind, and even more helpful than I could have imagined.

Beautiful atrium style hotel with rooms towering all around. We had issues with our electronic key. The issue at our room was quickly resolved quickly by the engineering staff, the lock had a dead battery. The staff here were the absolute best. The front desk, engineering, bar, and restaurant were so friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean. We have yet to stay at a hotel as quiet as this was. We had no issues with outside noise or from other patrons. We will certainly stay here when in the area again.

This was a wonderful place. We were here for two days while attending an OES convention in this same hotel. Everything was terrific. It is clean, bright, and extremely friendly including the staff to those cleaning your room. If you are in the Charleston WV area this should be your place to stay.

We have always traveled through West Virginia but have never stayed, and I have to say this is Hands down the best hotel we have stayed in!!! And that says a lot, we travel very frequently. Rooms are nice and spacious, if you have kids the bedrooms are gigantic. The best part is the bathroom and bedroom are separate, makes it so nice with littles ones when they go to sleep so early.

Also, have to give a shout-out to Toni! She was helpful once we pulled up she offered assistance in loading, wrangle up the kids and brought out stuff up to our room. We ended up having an issue with the furnace and she came up to help, she wears so many hats, and is just the best person all around. Thanks again!
