Kind, good people. Clean bathroom, cleaner than most larger chain gas stations.
Good fried chicken, simple and solid stop.

Best hamburgers ANYWHERE & at a fair price. Friendly, helpful employees & did I mention the hamburgers?!

Good fresh to order cheeseburgers can even get grilled onions. Room to park a semi. Nice stop while on the road.

When going to Detroit, & low on gas (or full in bladder) I try to stop in at J&S Git-n-Go. They have lots of goodies, an ample drink selection, & they're often grilling burgers. I know the burgers are for someone else, but the aroma is so enticing & the crackling of burgers on the grill so tantalizing that I nearly always want 1 for myself.
▪ Mornings before 8:00 there are often 5 or 10 guys sippin' coffee, prepping for their job, or just chewin-the-fat. 2 seating areas w/ booths inside J&S, 1 adjacent to the front window the 2nd along the back wall.
▪ It's more than a gas station, more than a convenience store, more than a grill. For a place like Detroit it's practically a community center.
🍀J&S Git-n-Go is business companions w/ Shamrock at this location.
🍔 On recent visit, tried a cheese burger & fries. Fantastic! It was great as it smelled.
🐓Krispy Crunchy Chicken now offered by J&S Git-n-Go (03/2019). Big Fancy display & accompanying equipment. Ate 2 bites of the Chicken Livers &.Waffle Fries, threw the rest away. On this one item, ☹ negative 10✭'s.

Worst experience ever, would give it no stars if I could, they keep the phone off the hook so you end up having to go up there & wait for your food, then their rude & always gossiping about people behind the counter . Wish there was another store in Detroit so I could avoid this one.
