Cotton Patch Cafe

I was feeling bad today so it was our First time ordering Cotton Patch & we're SO HAPPY with our order. Ordered through the app which was super easy.

I ordered chicken fried chicken & it was THE BEST crunchy,fried chicken I've ever had with a side of fried okra & garlic mashed potatoes.

My husband ordered the Dr.Peppee bacon burger & he loved it!

Fried pickles were delicious at a great price $5 & our delivery guy Brett was great! Happy,big smile on his face. We will absolutely be ordering again,thank you so much🩷

To start our waitress Misty was a superstar. She truly has the gift to make you feel special. The care she showed my Aunt who has physical handicaps but is very independent was the perfect touch.

Their chicken fried steak is rated as one of the best in Waco for a good reason... yum. The chicken tenders were on point. And most of all those ROLLS little soft warm melt in your mouth deliciousness.

Cotton patch has always been pretty consistently good food at still reasonable prices. Probably some of the best chicken fried chicken in town, the fish is also quite good. Give them a try, keep it simple, and you should be pretty happy.

This restaurant has delicious food! It was easy to find, plenty parking!!! The server, Rosa, was a delight, made me laugh a few times. She made sure to attend to us in a warm, friendly manner! The food was very good!! The restaurant is a good sized seating space. If you never been, try it! Ask to be seated in Rosa's section!! 😊👍

Great service, food came out of the kitchen very fast! It was piping hot & delicious! We will definitely be back.

I went last day on coupon. Surprised as to how good/tasty l found the food bc the last time time l visited a couple of years ago l wasn't certain l was returning.

They really do offer a tasty menu that won't break your budget. A lot of fried food but they really do it well. I have many favorites: chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak fingers, chicken fried steak, I could go on! Major, our waiter, was polite and attentive throughout.

First time here and I will definitely be back! The food was very good and so was the staff!

Great experience, but a group of 6 were split into 2 booths.

Service was wonderful. Some of the best we've had in Waco. I ordered the chicken fried brisket which was great.

My first time at Cotton Patch and I was not disappointed.

We had such a great experience! We got there as the first dinner rush hit, and they were popping. Tiffany, the front of house manager, greeted us with a smile and went and cleaned a table for us. We were seated promptly and Litzy came to introduce herself right away. She had a lot of tables but she took the time to make sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I each ordered the chicken fried steak and we had the fried pickles for an appetizer (yum!)

All of our food was hot and fresh and absolutely delicious.

We can’t wait to come back for another great date night! Thank you Litzy, Tiffany and the Waco Cotton Patch team. Well done!

Me and the kiddos had a wonderful time. My little one spilled that sweet sweet Dr p all over the table and floor, and as I was on my knees trying to clean up this sticky mess our server stepped in to help. She said it happens she understands, not a problem, and we cleaned that mess up together. Never felt more taken care of and comfortable. Now this is a real family establishment

It was my aunt's 85th birthday. She wanted to go there and have meatloaf.... Ended up being the last piece of meatloaf on the pan for the nite...... It didn't turn out quite the way she wanted it to be..... But the manager at COTTON PATCH CAFE was WONDERFUL..... He went and got her, her second choice , it was very good.
And to our surprise the manager remove the price of the meatloaf from the ticket.

And you're probably thinking to yourself he should have removed it any way...... But we know in this day and time it never happens....... It's just like a breath of fresh air.... It was the end of the day of her birthday but it ended up being wonderful..... He also brought her a free dessert..... Wonderful staff everybody wish her a happy birthday..... One at a time she was so 👍 impressed...

Thank you to the management, and to the staff at the Cotton Patch Cafe....in Waco..... One of her better memories she's had in a long long time , thank you again......Chris

Came to lunch with my class and advisor and everything was so good!!! But our server was even better! Major was the most respectful server and stayed on top of everything even keeping my drink full without me saying a word. I would definitely recommend him for everyone to have as a server!

My overall experience at cotton patch was amazing. Mr. Major was fantastic, he was on it with our drink and orders. At times he was really ahead of us, and if they didn’t have something on the menu or it just wasn’t right he let us know right off. Mr. Major is one of the best waiters I’ve ever seen in awhile and I really appreciate his service.

This was the first time I have eaten here in many years. We had the lunch portion, very well priced under 10dollars, portion was perfect, and we got our food and in a timely manner. Waiter was very tentative.

We ate there Sunday 06/12/22. I can't remember the waitress' name but she was a young thin brunette and she was really awesome. Cotton Patch has never disappointed us on the quality of their food and the attentive servers. Try the chicken fried brisket. It sounds ridiculous, but it is to die for! It comes with gravy and BBQ sauce for whichever you prefer. My wife was happy with her salad, as well. Also the fried mushrooms were impressive 👌. I can't recommend this place enough if you want good ol' country cooking. It's kind of like The Blackeyed Pea but way more creative.

Edit: We we're back again on 04/09/23; Our server, Paige, was super nice and good at her job, and the food was wonderful as usual!
