Rack Room Shoes

I don't shop at Rack Room often and I try to avoid Central Texas Marketplace at all costs but I really have to give Regina a shout out.
Long story:
My SIL gave me a pair of shoes for Christmas, which she bought in NC (tax free shopping), mailed out in MA, AND shipped in the Nike box itself (didn't put the shoe box in another box and then ship that.) She also put the shoes in the wrong box (same style, wrong color and size). Well, the shoes didn't fit so my husband went to Rack Room on 12/30/23 to make an exchange. The store was packed because they were running a buy-one-get-one-50%-off deal. Regina was the first person to help us at the register. We explained the already confusing situation to her and she got started on the exchange right away. My SIL didn't send the right gift receipt (ugh) and the exchange was difficult because NC is tax free while TX is not (boooo) and Rack Room did not have my size in the same shoe. Regina got everything all squared away, was able to get the tax situation fixed, and get the new pair ordered to the store -all while handling other customers as well. She was super friendly, energetic, and polite the whole time. I'll admit I had been dreading going into the store for the exchange but my husband and left commenting on how well everything went.

Update to 1/4/23: the shoes arrived but the wrong size shoe arrived in the right size box. My husband didn't realize until he had arrived home. He went back to Central Texas Marketplace to get everything sorted out again and who was there to help? Regina! He said she was super friendly again, got everything taken care of quickly, and we have a new order placed. Hopefully this time the correct shoe size is in the box. Thank you Regina for all of the help!

Can't remember the associate's name, I think she was a manager, but I was JUST there about 20 minutes ago. She was helpful and very polite; even gave me a discount on one of the pairs of shoes I purchased! The bottom of one shoe was kind of yellowed instead of bright white like the other shoe of the pair; she offered to order a pair for me and have it shipped but I explained I didn't mind the yellowed shoe at all because they'd get dirty anyway (I'm a tattoo artist and inky shoes are inevitable, lol). She then added a discount that I actually wasn't aware of until I left the store and checked my receipt to do a survey. Pleasant surprise! I'm picky about where I buy shoes but I'm glad I happened to swing through here. They'll have a repeat customer through me!

Staff was available to help with locating sizes not on shelves

Went here for the first time to grab shoes quickly for a funeral! Found what I was looking for and even got another pair of shoes for 50% off! Very happy!

I bought two pairs of shoes. They are fine. I like them. The cost was ok. But i observed one thing. Its actually not very cost saving. So if you are looking for shoes with a little less cost, you can check out ross or marshall s. The thing is, what we buy with buy one and than get another one with 50% less the prize, are not very worthy and cost effective. I have bought shoes from many places and so from my experience, its not that much cost effective, but it is one option to get shoes, mostly outdated designed shoes.

Found the daughter's prom shoes. For less than twenty bucks, too! The staff were so helpful and genuinely wanted to assist us. I find that's rare in this day and age. Keep up the great work, folks. We will certainly be back for more great finds and great service!

What a great selection! Nice and curteous staff. The store was organized and clean! As much as I hate shopping, I honestly didn't mind being in there.
I found what I was looking for with the help of the young lady that was working there.. quickly made my purchases and was in my way.

Went into the store & a nice lady asked if she could help me & I told her what I wanted. She took me over to the brand of flip flops I wanted , got my size & I was checked out in less than 30 minutes. I will be going back when I need shoes.

Friendly staff. Clean and great variety. They even shipped my shoes to my house out of state.

Great selection and prices. You can save a lot of money just by their specials alone. Sometimes when you order from their website online so before you buy in store, check to see if there is a better deal online.
