Slow Rise Slice House

Great place to get a slice and have a nice cold drink! It was really good pizza! There mozzarella sticks are delicious! Love there little ice they have reminds me of sonic ice!! Great atmosphere! I would definitely come back here again!

Slow Rise in Woodway always hits the spot! It’s one of my favorite places to eat lunch in Woodway! The slice of the day today was The Deli. We also ordered fried ravioli & chicken tenders w/ fries. My daughter ate some of her food before I got this picture. Their ranch is 🤤 too. 9/10!

We love coming to Slow Rise! They have a great selection of pizza for the whole family. There is ample room for the kids to play. Mind love climbing the tires and lying on the benches when they need a break. 😂 There is indoor seating and outdoor seating for a large group if needed.

I have never had anything to complain about Slow Rise.
It's my first time ordering to go, and the experience was quite smooth.
The food was ready on time.

Even the server came out in the rain just to deliver my order. I didn't expect it.

Been there quite a few more times. Beer selection is always great. Pizza is amazing. I even tried one of their salads! Awesome place and I look forward to more visits.

I got to try Slow Rise Slice House for for the very first time and I have to say that I am impressed. The Pizza by the slice was delicious, the funnel cake fries were awesome. The best part? They have yuengling on tap. Delicious food and great service at the bar. I will be going back! Thank you for the great experience.

Great place to have a slice and grab a local beer. Also their wings and loaded french fries are delicious! They do have misters outside but it's still too hot for me.

Fun, relaxing, great staff and the food is amazing. Had Garlic Parmesan, Bourbon, and Texas BBQ wings are out of this world. Their pizza slices are huge New York style and amazing.

Excellent rotation of beverages at the bar. Pizza was delicious and hot. Very fresh. I had forgotten how large the big pies were! Ordered two for three adults and four kids, but one really was enough. Reasonable pricing all things considered. Place was abnormally busy for afternoon on a Saturday, but I'm not a regular.

Loaded fries were amazing, wife really liked the wings and my pizza slice was good too! Our first time there and will be back most likely, had a good atmosphere too

Great cheese pizza & their wings & pork shanks are pretty great too. Love the drive thru option, although plan on calling ahead like 40 mins.
Update- they no longer have projects shanks :( but the honey Sriracha wings r fantastic!

I’ve heard so many good things about this place and I finally went! You’d never expect to find a place like this in Waco, Tx. Their pizza was amazing I had “ The butcher” my brother has just a normal pepperoni slice and my friend had “the Margharita” the slices are huge! So if you don’t eat much one is enough. ask for the slice of the day and they will surprise you. The only thing is you don’t have a waiter so you have to get up every time you need another beer. The outside patio is huge! Great for kids to run around and have fun. A kid friendly place for sure! The funnel cake fries are to die for! Added raspberry and Carmel to them paired with my beer they were great! Restrooms were clean and all their staff is on top of everything super friendly.

Slow Rise is one of my favorite places to eat awesome pizza, drink a local draft beer, & get some great coffee. They also have a rentable party room we like for birthday or work parties. I only have a picture of the extra long sofa in the party room.

Great food, service & atmosphere! The meatballs are a must try. The outdoor dining areas overlooking the river are so beautiful.

Found this place on Google. Delicious pizza & good vibes. You can sit inside or outside under the beautiful string lights. FYI the 20 inch is definitely massive for just 2 people, but we demolished as much as we could and got a box for the rest. If you’re looking for a delicious NY style pizza, this is your place!

We enjoyed this place so much that we stayed for hours and ordered extra snacks. The pizzas were delicious and there were great, tasty options for gluten free as well as a vegan cheese alternative. The funnel cake fries were also a big hit. The capacious outdoor space is great for sitting, and the giant truck tires are perfect for letting children play freely. Would highly recommend.

The perfect place! We had a party of 20 (14 kids and 6 adults). The food was good, but the best part was the amount of space for the kids to run around and play. We will definitely go back!

Just went and checked out Slow Rise on the Brazos, and they did a phenomenal job for their first Friday in this location. The Pizza and traditional wings hot were very tastee.

There is a ton of outdoor seating on the river creating a very unique ambience for Waco.

Great food. A little wild every time we bring the kids someone gets hit in the head with a soccer ball. Parents tend not to actually watch their own children when there. Not sure staff has figured out how to remedy this.

Great place for all ages and relaxation, family and fun for the kids. A 1 slicer or a full pie. The taste was unique and homey to try another. This place is in Woodway eastbound service Rd before Texas central parkway.

Best pizza in town! We love the chill atmosphere, good music, and delicious eats. There's plenty of space for the kids to run and play, which I appreciate!!

There's also a great coffee shop nextdoor.
