Summer Palace Restaurant

This place is one of the best places for family dining. It has lots of options for good food choices and is large enough to accommodate a big family.

I have been to plenty of Chinese buffets and the Summer Palace is up there among the top three. The food was very tasty, vast variety, courteous staff. Bathrooms were cleaned.
The one thing I did not like is that they do not offer the 10% military discount as many other restaurants do. Still the regular price was low enough to make up for it.

Omg lunch buffet was so good. You can also take a plate to they just need to weigh it before you leave. A+ BANANA PUDDING WAS ❤❤

I went here on a whim. I usually don't like eating at buffets because the food quality can be very hit or miss depending on the time of day among other things. I was pleasantly surprised by both the variety and the quality of the food. It was hot, and tasty! Can't ask for much more from any restaurant. The server lady who attended to me was also fantastic. I went during the lunch rush about noon or so.

It was my first time eating there. The food was good. I enjoyed it very much. The atmosphere was nice, the restaurant was clean . I wish our waitress was a little more friendly. Overall I would definitely go back.

One of the best Chinese Restaurants/ Buffets i have ever had! The food tasted phenomenal, the service was fast and friendly. The price is very reasonable and the selection was great! I came here with my whole family and we all very much enjoyed literally everything! Definitely recommend!

In my experience most chinese buffets are pretty much the same, this place has the standard dishes we all know and love but they definitely have an extra homemade taste!!!! Really really loved the egg puff pastry!! The BEST dessert I've ever had at a buffet!!! Excellent!

Really enjoyed this place
The food was very tasty and quickly replaced as people went through the buffet. The crab salad contained large chunks of crab, very generous. The desert bar contained a little bit of everything. Also the service was way above average. Many times asking if we were done with a plate or needed our drink refilled. I definitely want to go back.

Always when I'm in town this is where I get good Chinese food.

Love this place, I could eat here every day. The owners are the nicest people and always recognize me when I come in. The waiters are very attentive and their timing is great. There's really nothing negative I could say about this place, it's just great!

Google wanted me to update my review. It's still owned by the same awesome people, the wait staff are still great, and the food is still delicious. Year after year this Summer Palace keeps up the quality. Thanks guys!

100% hands down the BEST Chinese you will find in all of Waco. Our family loves ordering takeout from here. Never an issue with an order and food is always amazing.

The buffet is very well taken care of and the food is delicious. They have fresh food and more diet conscious selections. Waiter is on the spot for keeping my water glass full. This is always a favorite with our family.
