Uncle Dan's BBQ & Ribhouse

Red at aLoft said that this was his favorite BBQ, so we gave it a try & are so glad we did. The Prime Brisket, potato salad, ribs & deviled eggs were outstanding. I liked the regular BBQ sauce & our son liked the spicy.

As a bonus, we watched the Texas football game. We had a wonderful meal & fabulous time.

Had the turkey Deluxe on wheat, with a side of white potato salad, and five of the stuffed jalapenos...

The sandwich was hot, the potato salad was cold, and the jalapenos were just right...

In the last 40 years I've never had a bad meal at Uncle Dan's... and God knows I've tried about everything on the menu!!!

Very tasty Texas BBQ place that I'd highly recommend. One of our group had allergies and Uncle Dan's was able to confidently cater for them. The pulled pork and brisket were great and others rated the turkey and ribs very highly too. We enjoyed it so much we came back again during our few day trip to Waco. And I'll definitely visit again if in the area.

The best place for me to enjoy BBQ, the menu is great and the staff is so nice, even Uncle Dan says hi to the tables and chat a bit, happened to me multiple occasions, no regrets if you wanna try amazing BBQ.

New remodel and good looking atmosphere.

I ordered pulled pork and BBQ chicken loaded baked potato for our life group, The food was awesome,the service great,very prompt,due to ordering ahead of time. All the people at life group all agreed that food and size and portions were all more than expected.

I love this place, not everyone does. I always get the lean sliced brisket, yellow potato salad and baked beans. My family gets the sausage plate and the Texas Tater. Everyone enjoys this place.

Went to Uncle Dan's two nights in a row. Food is so good. Dinner with 3 people Friday night and 7 on Saturday and everyone loved what they ordered. We all tried the 3 meats/ two sides the first night but there isn't one that I think you should narrow it down to. All fantastic. Very affordable is a bonus. Manager was VERY helpful, as I have food allergies and they have a complete list of ingredients.

All about consistency & you guys nailed it again! My travel buddies said it was THE best bbq, "Spectacular" was the exact wording. Pulled pork that melts in your mouth, spicy sauce & the creaminess of Mac n Cheese. Now you know I went back the following night. & you know I devoured the jalapeño sausage. Booking my next flight down cause this Jersey girl needs some off the charts bbq from Uncle Dans!

Went for dinner on a Tuesday. Surprised that I got in on a special that nite, BUY ONE DINNER & GET THE SECOND ONE FREE!!! It cost me $12.00 for ALL THAT!

Texas tater! It looks like a mess but is delicious. They make sure to load it up. They are never stingy with the fixings.

A must in Waco. It may not be in the center of town, but is an easy trip that’s well worth it. We tried all of their meats and all were excellent. On top of that, the staff was really great at explaining the menu and let us try the sides to decide. Definitely visit this family run place.

Great ribs and juicy or dry brisket.
Deviled eggs and green beans are excellent sides. If you wonder on sides ask the lady cutting the meat she is truthful.

Such a fun find. Nothing fancy about the place but really good food and quick service. We got the loaded potatoes and they were SO big they made two meals. So yummy and only $9! Will be back!

1st time there. Restaurant is larger than it looks from outside.

I’m not normally a fan of barbecue but Uncle Dan’s, a Waco fixture, endears me to the concept far more than I had expected possible.

The brisket is sublime, and the additional fixings like home style macaroni and cheese as well as perfectly whipped mashed potatoes make Uncle Dan’s a real treat.

The atmosphere evokes a quaint, small-town cafeteria, and the selection of name-brand beers and even Mexican soda - pictured below - really sell the wholesome dining experience.

Uncle Dan’s is somewhere I’ll go again and again!
I highly recommend it.

Had the Texas Tator, and mustard potato salad. We moved away 15 years ago and haven’t been able to find a potato salad that compares. The BEST! Also the spicy BBQ sauce is perfection.

Amazing brisket and sausage with the best green beans I've ever had in my life. The staff is very friendly and accommodating... The potatoes were excellent as well

The man that delivered everything was super nice and the food tasted Amazing!!!!
