Wako Roll

Kimchi jjigae (Korean pork kimchi stew) was actually pretty good. This is probably the only place where you can get it in Waco. I will try other Korean items such as Korean bulgogi (stir fry pork/beef) next time I come here

We Were trepidate about our incipient experience here, but we were very pleasantly surprised when the server appeared with miso soup. We both prefer tofu--if it must be present--to be very soft and nearly dispersed in the soup, but these cubes were very firm. They could be distributed among the bibimbop, though. The soup presented a texture that I, being very suspicious of bean-based material, felt wholly like a lentil or some other small bean smashed and suspended as a type of thickener. The serving size of the main dish was exceedingly generous, particularly in consideration of the moderate price: I see two full meals here in my bowl. We look forward to another visit for shared Wako rolls.

This place has so much flavor. Waco Roll was my absolute favorite. There is crunch, spice, and rice. New York roll was fresh and had delicious shrimp. Spicy tuna and dragon roll also had a little kick to it. 🔥Bibimbap beef tasted phenomenal😋. We are always coming back here for sushilicious meals.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. Clean, cozy atmosphere. Staff was so friendly and knowledgeable of my entree questions being that I'm vegan. The food came out hot and fresh, and the sushi was just right!! Did I forget to mention absolutely delicious?!!! 5 stars from me! 💚🌱

Really great spot for Korean BBQ and sushi rolls. Consistently fast and tasty. The bulgogi jeonsik is really good, and all of the sushi rolls are great. A little but expensive but tastes great. You can make most of the Korean BBQ dishes more spicy but be careful. Anything you order will be great.

The best Korean restaurant in Waco. I love Budaejjigae especially. It is truly Korean. Kids love California rolls. Also, Kimchi fried rice is very good. We are happy with both the quality and quantity of the food.

Are you kidding me. This photo is of the Korean style poke bowl. Spicy tuna and spicy salmon. Wow was it good. Really fresh ingredients.
There are a lot of things on this menu. And I have not had many. The crab salad was fair at best and not like a normal crab salad. But WOW this poke bowl was the bomb.

I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. I tried the tacos for the first time and they were amazing. Usually, I get the Waco roll or another specialty roll, but I think the tacos are my new favorite.

It's been a while since I had sushi and I'm glad I ordered from waco roll. Got the philly roll, Alaska roll, and spicy California. Everything was great but Philly was my favorite. Will absolutely buy sushi from here again!

I've been wanting to try this for a year and for some reason it hadn't happened. I'm very sad that I hadn't tried it until now. Let me tell that the food was so amazing. They have a variety of delicious food. I'm telling you that you have to eat here as soon as you can. It won't disappoint. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. I'll be going back for sure for my next cheat meal.

The place feels a little dark, so the atmosphere was not fantastic, but the food was absolutely incredible!

I'm not the biggest fan of sushi so I tried their Bulgogi meat plate (pictured below) and it was incredible!! It came with some fun side toppings and a massive portion of fried rice. The meat was cooked to perfection and it came with lettuce to make lettuce wraps/ tacos out of. The potstickers we're also yummy. And one if the best boba teas i have ever had. I will definitely be coming here again soon and would highly recommend this place to others.

Loved it. Every roll we tried and it was a table full! Was excellent. Now the menu ordering is confusing but if it's your first time keep walking towards the order counter and there is a picture wall with the names of the plates under. That helps allot . You just cant see it when you come in.

Great Korean/Japanese fare. Just came back from Seoul and was very impressed with the quality of kimchi and fast/friendly service. Generous helpings for a decent price.

We love this place! It was a little bit pricey but the food especially Bulgogi tasted authentic. I make my own bulgogi and I like that if I can't make, I can easily get a "fast food". Their sushi are amazing too!

I am never disappointed by the food. The majority of the time, I get a salmon poke bowl or sushi. Really, you can't go wrong with anything you order. The people who work here are always very friendly. My only complaint would be that they don't bring everyone's food out at the same time, so some people are left waiting while others are eating

Wako Roll has long been one of our favorite places for Asian-inspired food in Waco. The staff is always so friendly and our food comes quickly and is beautifully presented. I have never had something here that hasn't been fresh and tasty! Those are just the basics, though, and any decent restaurant should have such service and quality of food or they shouldn't be in business. Well, the other night my wife and I were on a date and our kiddo had an accident at the sitter's. Long story short we had to leave quickly and asked for our already prepared food to be wrapped up to go. The staff responded with kindness and speed and left a sweet note in our to-go bag (see attached picture). Incredible! Thanks Wako Roll, you are the bomb!
