Vidal, Ashley, and Sarah were very caring. My brother passed away unexpectedly and we chose Oak Crest because we knew they had a good reputation.
I don't wish anyone to have to finalize the life of a younger sibling, but if so, I recommend Oak Crest.

Dr Mo and the staff assisted us with a very difficult situation. The staff assisted our family with grace, dignity, professionalism, and humility.
They were kind thoughtful and helpful throughout the entire funeral experience.
Dr Mo is a true gentleman, with a kind helpful heart.
I can not express our appreciation enough.

The people that work at Oakcrest were so caring and took care of every detail so wonderfully. They made us feel so much peace during a very sad time for our family. From being extremely caring and personable to putting together a beautiful two days of services, we will never forget Oakcrest's kindness and compassion during this time.

I received such caring service from Oak Crest Funeral Home that I just want to express that I made a super good choice of them taking care of services for my wife after she passed on Dec. 15, 2023. Dr. Moshinskie was so kind and easy going and exhibited a caring attitude. The staff were also superb in their assistance. To sum it all up, I think there is none better than Oak Crest Funeral Home in Waco, Texas. James E. Cox, MçGregor, Texas

Dying and taxes are 2 things on life we have no control over. When you can at least have someone who can help you decided which kind of services would be right for us both religiously and financially. My husband and I had an amazing experience with the staff of Oakcrest funeral home. Starting way back when my husband had received the news that my husband was diagnosed with Leukemia. After some heartfelt discussions we realized that it was time to face facts and make plans for end of life care and funeral arrangements for when the time came. From planning to arranging the obituary (which after my husbands passing I found out he had emailed Oakcrest to make changes on multiple occasions and they were happy to oblige and carry out his wishes.)
When the time came, it was easy to contact them and they gave us as much time as we need before coming to our house to pick my husband up, and he was treated with tenderness and respect. Everything was carried out in a timely manner and we were kept informed every step of the way. From pivking up the ashes to picking up my husbands flag as he was a Veteran.
What has surprised me the most was the aftercare services for.me as the deceased spouse. My husband and I were together for 36 years and his loss has left a huge void. From phone calls, to tects to little booklets I receive in the mail that help me cope with my feelings and reassure me that my feelings are valid. I am very private and it helped me tremendously to read and realize that what I am feeling or not feeling is perfectly normal. Everyone grieves differently and there are people you can contact who care and will be an ear if needed.
My pre-arrangements have already been made at Oakcrest and from my experience seeing how well my dear husband was treated before and after his death I have confidence I am in good hands.

In the passing of our dear brother, father, grandfather, Robert Bruce Stewart, Oakcrest provided superior professional and emotional support in all aspects of planning and having a military funeral service, interment, monument (headstone / VA service stone). They were quick to handle inclement weather disruptions with ease.

Oakcrest Funeral Home along with it's great staff are by far some of the most compassionate and understanding people I have ever delt with during the loss of a loved one. They go far and beyond to help you with every detail and make the process go as smoothly as possible. They are very reasonably priced and I couldn't have been more pleased with them. Thank you for everything...

The entire staff at Oak Crest are just what you would hope for in times of grief. They are compassionate and extremely professional. They were a source of comfort during our time of need and greatly assisted us in resolving the details of the entire burial process. They made our time of grief easier because they took care of so many details we were not prepared to deal with.

The services provided by Oakcrest were amazing. From the respectful way things were handled in my mother’s home, through the planning process, cremation services, and the delivery of my mother’s remains to us for transport to her final resting place in Wyoming, everything was first class. Thank you, Oakcrest!

In our time of grief, Ashlie, at the front desk, and Jim Moshinskie, funeral director, at Oakcrest Funeral Home, made the funeral process so much easier.
It did help that preparations had been put in place years ago.
There were some things my daughter and I needed to pick out such as pictures for a video and music played with the video.
From beginning to end Ashlie and Jim answered any questions that came up.
The funeral service was held in the chapel at the funeral home making it so much better while outdoor Texas temperatures were scorching.
The Navy's participation and blowing taps was awesome.
It truly helped us grieve.

My husband passed recently after years of declining health. We had made preneed plans with Oakcrest, thank goodness! Everything went smoothly with no need to make arrangements under duress. Oakcrest has a great group of caring & compassionate people.!!! Make preneed arrangements, you'll be glad you did when the time comes & Oakcrest will follow your wishes.

By far the most compassionate and helpful staff! They go above and beyond during a very difficult time. They listen to your wants and needs. Then try to make it all happen. They are with you every step of the process. They even check on you after everything is done. Can’t say enough good things about them. They really care about you, your family, and your loved one!!!

Thank you all so very much. You made this very difficult situation much easier for all of us by walking us through the process, making accommodations as we moved through the needs of others involved, and following up with genuine care and concern for our loss. Treating us as friends and family is a wonderful way for you to do business. Thank you again for going out of your way. We were blessed to work with you. I am sure that others will feel the same.

Oakcrest took care of my sister and made sure she was transported to Dallas to be sent home to Pennsylvania. Everything went smoothly, and they have followed up with me still 2 months after their services.
