One and Only Burgers and Fries

I can’t believe I hadn’t already reviewed this place!! I surely thought I had already! No pictures of my burger because I had already eaten it before I realized I hadn’t done a review here. Today I swayed away from my usual bacon cheeseburger with grilled pineapple and A-1 and added green chili to this combo and man oh man this is my new favorite burger here!! Every time we are in Sherman I make my husband take me here for a burger. I absolutely love this place and the lady at the register is always friendly and pleasant. You gotta stop in and grab a delicious burger!

Really simple menu and they let you dress the burgers and dogs any way you want without charging you per topping. The large bag of fries is great for an entire family. Food is cooked to perfection. Prices are very reasonable.

I realized I added these photos back in 2021 without a review! Oh the shame, as this place is still an amazing place for burgers and fries. When I took these pictures, I was limiting my carbs (yes, it was difficult) and they made the burger using lettuce instead of a bun. Gabe and his crew are also great! Stop in and show them some love.

Absolutely fantastic! Great service, great food made fresh and fast, and very reasonable prices! Go and eat lunch, you won't regret it, oh yeah and the large fries really are humongous. And they offer a military discount. Seriously, go have lunch here!

Seriously, undoubtedly, hands-down the BEST double bacon cheeseburger in town! Ordered at the counter and served at the table, my burger arrived steaming hot and very fresh. I know, because the entire kitchen is in right there in the dining area so you can watch your delicious burger being prepared! Amazing!
The menu is very simple.. burgers and hot dogs with a few specialty items like a veggie burger and grilled cheese..
The fries... oh my goodness, the fries!! Delicious! They are SUPER generous with the fries, too. A small order was half a sack full!! Best value anywhere! Big Double bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a soft drink for about $10!
There's big televisions on every wall. I watched the Texas Tech game and listened to classic and 80s Rock n Roll..
Restrooms were bright and clean, dining area was clean, people are super friendly! Great place for a big, juicy, delicious burger!! I will definitely be back!!

Really enjoy my time there with the tasty burgers and good prices. You can even see them prepare it in front of you. Organized, clean and efficient. Another great place for burgers and good music. Fries a bit stale but still good.

Theres not too many places that warrants five stars, however, this places has earned ever star! Restaurant is always clean. The atmosphere is great with an friendly and helpful staff. The Burger and Fries…in the words of my kids are “Bussin Bussin” Which is prolly the best compliment one can obtain food-wise. Burgers come with free toppings…all the free topping you could want. Add an additional patty or bacon for a small additional fee. For a double bacon cheeseburger filled with toppings, the fries for two, and drink came out to just about 13 bucks. If you’re in Sherman, you should definitely treat yourself.

This is the very best hamburger in Sherman, Texas.... The fries are always good and lots of them.

Best Burger place I've tried in Grayson County. They're fair priced and absolutely fantastic. The burgers were sooooo good, the fries were yummy, and the people there are so nice! We will definitely be back!

I had a chili cheese dog and it was really good. Their hand cut French fries are good and crispy, especially the zesty fries.

Went here with the family and the cashier was extremely nice got along great with my son and the food was very reasonably priced and was absolutely delicious

Boom! Must go. Skip whataburger and get to One and Only. Great burgers and seasoned fries, and the special sauce too. A little hard to find, it’s in corner of shopping center across from QT. Will be back

The 4 of us were first-timers. The burgers were juicy and delicious. Fries were tasty and plenty of them. The staff was courteous, helpful, and friendly. Definitely on our list to go again.

This is hands down the best burger I've had, and for an amazing price! Not to mention how friendly and welcoming everyone is. When Gabriel is here to greet you in person, creating a bond with each customer, it's impossible to compare this place with any other restaurant

Hands down the best burger place in Grayson County and its not even a close race. The quality and cost is absolutely incredible. Prices are super reasonable and food is absolutely delicious. Which is hard to find in sherman/denison. This is better than five guys at about 1/3 of the price. I've waited until trying this place about 5 times before finally leaving a review because consistency is apparently impossible out here as far as food. It's impossible to find not only great food at a great price but even harder to find consistency. Please don't change anything, fries absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. An abundant amount of toppings to choose from. So delicious. My only complaint is they are only open for a few hours each day and closed on Sundays. Everything out here for some reason is closed on Sundays. Other than that this place is amazing 👏

HOLY BURGER! Delish!!! Tastes as yummy as five guys for a fraction of the cost! Everything was made fresh right in front of you! The flavor and freshness is TOP NOTCH! Staff was friendly!

Only draw back was no gloves were used when handing the food. The drinks are also a little on the small side, which is fine if you are dining in, but for take out it’s not ideal.

Took my parents and wife out for lunch for a birthday meal per my mothers recommendation. The staff were very friendly. The burgers tasted fresh and home made. They are definitely not stingy with the fries! Great all around burger joint
