Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

My daughter and I stopped here on the way to the casino. I’m so glad we chose to eat here. The service we received was phenomenal. Our server was friendly, fast, and very attentive to our needs. He offered us refills at the perfect time. Brought additional condiments in a timely manner. Love that he saw me look up and knew I wanted my check. One of my pet peeves when I dine out is having to wait on the check. Now onto the food. Oh my goodness it was amazing. I ordered the rainbow trout with hashbrown casserole and a salad. The trout was better than I get at those expensive seafood restaurants. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. Now onto the salad. It was one of the freshest salads I’ve had in a restaurant in a very long time. My daughter loves biscuits. Those biscuits did not disappoint. They were fresh. My daughter ordered the chicken and dumplings and she approved of them as well. For now on when I make a trip to the casino I will definitely be coming here first. Thank you to all the staff for doing an amazing job. Keep up the good work.

The Sherman TX location must be under new management now. The items on the table such as the salt and pepper shaker were clean. The wait staff were well groomed, mature and friendly. The food was good. The store was clean and well stocked with new seasonal items. Looking forward to cooler weather so they can light the big fireplace which makes the place cozy.

Yum Yum Yum. I was craving fried chicken, my man was craving catfish.
This place seemed like a no Brainer, and we each got what we wanted.
Great portions. Server was on point.

The server was awesome. She was very attentive. She made sure we had plenty of drinks, napkins, condiments and that we had what we needed. She was handling multiple tables brilliantly and equally. The food was great. We had mango tea, biscuits with jellies, apple butter and honey, while we were waiting for the rest of our food. The boneless chicken breasts were breaded and fried to perfection but not greasy at all. Steak fries were crispy, as were the crispy fried okra. The chicken dumplings were tasty and filling. The apple dessert was sweet. Mashed potatoes were delicious and the fried trout was cooked to tenderness that was melt in your mouth. I always tend to over order, so I had one of the chicken breasts to take home for later, along with a couple of the biscuits. I love that they use real butter. It makes all the difference in taste. My parents and I enjoyed our dinner. It was well worth the money and the time we spent. The server Pamela, was worth every bit and more plus she had a great personality.

This morning around 8, just before work, my mom and I went into this location for breakfast. Our server (who I believe was named "Kimmy"), was absolutely wonderful to be around. She was very polite, and attentive. Her attitude was wonderful! She very kind and funny, and made us feel comfortable there. I love her sense of humor. The eggs, bacon, sausage, and hashbrowns we had were amazing, and the coffee was great. 10/10, 5 stars all around!! Keep up the good work, guys!

Fantastic food, but it's the service that has earned my review. Shout out to Ainsely, best service I've had in quite a while. Super sweet, very attentive, and anticipates your every need. You'll never have a bad experience with her as your server.

Always enjoy going to Cracker Barrel. Good lunch with some of the best biscuits and corn muffins I've had at a restaurant. The waitress was especially attentive and made sure I was able to navigate the narrow aisle with my cane in hand.

We did a take out which was a pain to order via their app! We would have ordered more, but gave up in frustration. However, what we received was delivered curbside by a friendly face, in nice packaging, and tasted very good! Yummy fried catfish and meatloaf with mac & chez. Just wish they could make it easier to order……and redeem that free welcome gift I supposedly got!

I love 💕 this place. Not sure if it’s the food or the eye candy overload country store, stuffed with all kind of beautiful things that I literally want to take all of it home. I would not say no to living in a cracker barrel store. I would be giddy every second I was home. Stopped in with my mom today. She is visiting and wanted to buy some ornaments. Some things are higher priced but they do have ornaments and tiny salt and pepper shakers that are .99.

Sherman, Texas location. Best service & food I've had at a Cracker Barrel in YEARS. Waitstaff & hostess were kind & attentive to all the tables. Food was hot, prepared to order & delicious 😋 This is what's missing at many of their restaurants- maybe the manager here could travel & teach other locations how it's done right & keep customers wanting to come back! They've really got some good people working here.
Will definitely be back when traveling thru the area! 👍

I've been a Cracker Barrel fan for decades.

I swore off this place years ago due to multiple bad experiences with staff and food quality. My wife convinced me to try it again, and I'm so glad I listened. The food was excellent, but most impressive to me was out server. Daniel was very kind and courteous, very informative about the menu and helpful with tips on what to order. I enjoyed it and thanks to him we will be coming back

Enjoyed myself, my church member's birthday, she choose! Cracker Barrel for her birthday meal it was really nice. We will be back. Thank you, Chan, you was a wonderful server. May God bless you

The best we have ever had! We have been here many times through the years but yesterday (May 22nd,2024)around 2:30 pm was the best food and Daniel was our server who also was a great waiter. We appreciate it very much!

Love the Sherman, Texas Cracker Barrel. Only thing I would change is the temperature. It’s always too cold!! Servers are mostly great. If you get a new server, please show a little patience. After all, They are in training.

Fast friendly service. No mask hassle for us... The food was fast, hot and correct. Again the store is always fun to look around and will cure a chocolate fix. First time at this location. Glad we stopped.

Stopped for breakfast on our journey back home. Excellent service and wonderful food. I haven't been to a Cracker Barrel in forever, so it was fun to stop and eat then shop around after.

I ordered the family chicken dinner online and was easy to order. It was ready when promised with no waiting. As usual the food was very good.
