Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

They were slammed when we stopped by for dinner last night. Even so, we were seated in 10 minutes (2 people). They were pretty quick with the honey butter rolls but It did take a few minutes to get our drinks. The server was friendly and helpful. My wife had the salmon and I had the lemon pepper chicken. Both were very good and we shared a piece of carrot cake for dessert! The cake followed the current trend of too sweet and not quite done cakes but overall had a nice balance of spice. At less than $50 for drinks, the meal and dessert the price was probably the most reasonable in the area for a sit down dining experience.

The food is delicious, the staff are very nice. We went because we were craving the monster cookie skillet and it's a good as I remember.

What truly sets Dani apart is her genuine friendliness and attentiveness. She took the time to chat with each guest, making everyone feel valued and welcome. It’s clear that Dani loves what she does and it shows in every interaction. Cheddar’s is fortunate to have her as part of their management team.

I was hungry for a pot pie and was told that Cheddar's has the best pop pies. So we decided to go give 'em a try.
We were not disappointed! The pies were huge and almost overflowing with chicken, veggies and gravy!
The crust is very flaky and light, very good 👍

Welcomed upon entry, seated right away. The drink order came quickly. By our request, the croissants were delayed. Abundant portions, took home enough for a great second light meal.

Cheddar's consistently offers exceptional dining experiences. The attentive and amiable waitstaff ensured our ordering process was seamless and enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant is continually welcoming and delightful.

Our waitress was pleasant, helpful and attentive. The food was good... I had a chicken pot pie and side salad.

There were five of us in our group. We were probably there for almost two hours. I ordered my steak medium rare, and that's how it came. Our server got a twenty dollar tip from us. A $20 tip from each of us plus 20% on the card. It was a nice end to a great day.

If in Sherman Texas stop by. Ask for Jason, he was a phenomenal waiter. He gave us great service for a party of 7. The food was slightly above average but the service we received made the dinning eco a 10. Chicken fried steak was really good but those croissants are on point!!!!!

Cheddar's never disappoints! A casual atmosphere with a touch of fine dining flair! It's really unlike anywhere else! It had been a while since we had been to Cheddar's and we were amazed that it was still fresh and delicious!! Presentation and service was top notch as well!!

We had an awesome experience at cheddars ! The waitress saquoria was so sweet and done an amazing job making sure we had plenty of drinks and checking on us to see how we loved the food ! She is the best ! Say hi when y’all go eat !!

This is a great place to eat. The food is great, it is reasonably priced, and I love the atmosphere. My wife and I started going there when we moved into the area and can't keep from going there at least once a week. We have tried most things on the menu and everything is great. My wife tried the Monte Cristo sandwich, and she was pleasantly surprised by it.

The host at first wasn't very welcoming but I have to say our waitress was great and the chicken fried steak alone with the loaded baked potato and corn was *chefs kiss* and also their burgers were highly recommended by my hubby... Go try out Cheddars!!!

It has been a minute since we've eaten here and I am glad we did. Our server, Taylor was great, he was very friendly and attentive. We will be back soon!

Update: water issue has been fixed after talking to support, just stay on top of your filter changes! Water is great now.

Water here tastes awful, has the last three times I've been here and it used to be fine, sodas use the same water too so they taste bad. REPLACE FILTERS OR SOMETHING it's gross.

The green beans were so tough you couldn't chew them and bones in my salmon. Our waiter and manager of cheddars, took care of the issues.

I don't give many places a five, but I purchased two carry-out full dinners and had a few beers at the bar while waiting. I was shocked at the bill under $50 for the amount of food I had along with alcoholic beverages. And, did I mention a marquarita to go? The bar patrons were all in my age range, 50-65, and very friendly as was the bartender. Just wish it was closer so we could make it a weekly trip.

We love Cheddar's. There's such a variety of food selections that I can choose a different dish each time and always be pleased with what they bring.

The food was good and we didn't have to wait in line long. I recommend their new carrot cheesecake.
