I recently went shopping for auto and home insurance. To be honest, I dreaded it as I've never had what I'd call a positive experience with this type shopping. But rather than going straight to the big corporations, as I've done in the past, I decided to look locally; by that I mean I reached out to an independent agent who could act as an intermediary between me and those companies. After doing some research, I contacted McCullough & Pierson Insurance in Sherman, TX, and I'm so glad I did. Working with Stephanie Cotton was an absolute pleasure. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She said from the beginning she'd do her best to find insurance to meet my needs but couldn't promise anything, which is the kind of straightforward honesty I truly appreciate. She answered all my questions, was patient in explaining things and, I'm very happy to say, found both auto and home insurance that kept me covered and saved me money. So glad to have found her.

This group of people are always wonderful and helpful when ever I need to find anything about my policy. They have been a great company to be a customer with. I was with Farmers for along time awhile back and they just never seemed as interested or willing to help like McCullough and Pierson. Have not regretted changing at all! Recommend to anyone!!

Customer service from McCullough & Pierson Agency is spectacular. Danna emailed me yesterday to tell me that she saw my raised renewal rate coming up and took it upon herself to shop for a better rate. This is the second year in a row that this has happened. This was not something that I requested, but rather something they took the initiative to do. I simply had to approve the change and enjoy the savings.
