Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home was a godsend for my family and me. Austin, our funeral director, took great care of my family. They were patient, caring, and thorough throughout the entire process. They were able to provide EVERYTHING we needed to lay my father to rest in a way that was respectful of our wishes. I never felt like they weren't giving us their very best effort or that someone else mattered more than us.

My family will forever be grateful to Turrentine Jackson Morrow for not causing any stress or confusion throughout the planning and execution of my father's service. I wish all businesses would operate with level of professionalism, care, and respect demonstrated by their staff. Working with them was the best decision for us and I can't think of one thing that they would need to do to improve their services.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with TJM. Brian Delozier showed me such respect in dealing with the unexpected death of my husband. He coordinated with the Fire Department and provided my husband the most wonderful respectful viewing. The logistics needed when dealing with a firefighter/police officer's funeral requires such attention to detail, and Brian did not disappoint. I would highly recommend using TJM if needed.

The service that our family received in taking care of our mother was absolutely profound and professional. We were in constant contact with their representative Mr. Ron, who was there to advise throughout this process. He was available for any questions we had and answered them all. He made

Dear Clay, thank you for the beautiful flowers that you sent to honor our daughter. The facility was warm and comforting and was intimate for our private service. You and all the TJM staff were gracious and accommodating. I am appreciative of your attention to detail.

TJM took incredible care of us when my mother passed and we needed care. In the hardest moment we’d faced as a family, TJM picked up the phone, had someone at our home within no time, and treated my mom with dignity and respect. Kyle took care of us (in 2021), and he was incredible — constantly communicative, kind, compassionate, and patient. We were never rushed, and he allowed us to grieve freely when making hard choices. My mother’s service was at her church, but we had a graveside service for family only a while later, and TJM made that experience a special one for our family and that beautifully honored my mother. I couldn’t be more appreciative of the kindness, professionalism, and compassion offered by TJM. I’m so thankful that people like Kyle (and others at TJM) exist to help ease the burden of the darkest days.

We held our grandmothers funeral mid-last year here and worked directly with Bruce. There was so much compassion, genuine kindness, and professionalism from all the staff we encountered there. We are really appreciative of the time Bruce took to make himself available for any questions we had and to guide us through every step of the process.

My Dad had a pre-need funeral arrangement with TJM for many many years set up to take care of his affairs when he passed. Dad lived to be a proud 88 yrs young and passed in February 2024. I contacted Mark Tallant a director there assigned to Dad's care and he was extremely quick to respond and walk me through the process. It's never easy doing this no matter how prepared one is but Mark took me through it and explained every detail completely. Even gave me his personal cellphone number. They arranged the Obituary, the cremation, even splitting up different tin boxes for each of us. He helped arranged extra ashes be set aside for custom jewelry the adult grandchildren wanted. He was on top of the process and took all the worry out of my mind. He took care of ordering dad's military marker and described how it would need to be placed. I must say this was a very painful time for the family but Mark and the team were phenomenal through it all. Very professional. I cannot thank TJM enough or give them a better review. They were excellent!

Devon is amazing. He did an excellent job in making us feel comfortable and taken care of after my mom passed away. He helped us in every step of the process and was always available when we needed something. The whole staff is great. They are all polite, respectful and highly professional.

Loss is never easy. The Turrentine Family made the process of planning and holding my husband’s service as stress free as possible. Sloan Turrentine, our Funeral Director, listened and delivered exactly what we wanted and needed. He is a thoughtful, caring person and made us feel like he was taking care of his own family.

I pray we do not need these services again for years to come. When we do, I will once again trust the Turrentine Family with our loved one.

Ron Kelly was wonderful about guiding me about the details of my father's funeral. He was always available and willing to answer questions. At the funeral, he was a comfort to have there.

Mark Tallant and staff went above and beyond to make the experience as trouble free and smooth as possible. Turrentine has handled all of our families needs and they have never disappointed. They are caring, professional and above all adaptable to familys needs and wants. To have the comfort of knowing all is taken care of in a difficult time is a priceless thing.

Myron Morrow and TJM were attentive, courteous, and accommodating. From the staff waiting to greet us at the door, to the sit-down session going over the available arrangements, both the physical and financial details and options, to the beautifully kept chapel, gardens, and columbariums, we can see that a lot of care and detail goes into every aspect of their facilities and the services they provide. Myron listened to what we wished for and was helpful in providing us the information and letting us know what to expect, and we were able to finalize the arrangements in a short period of time. Their online memorials made it possible and easy for my relatives who lived out of the country and overseas to sign the guest book and share their favorite memories of my father and celebrate my father’s life. Thank you all for everything!

What I really appreciated about the service we received at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow was the kindness and respect we received for our Mother’s home-going. It was professional without being stuffy and the facility was excellent. Butch and his staff were so accommodating even down to the flowers. The facility has an awesome tradition of sending flowers to the viewing! Everything was explained thoroughly concerning expenses and was reasonable. Even when my Mom’s minister could not attend, Butch asked his Pastor to officiate!
It was a relaxed and friendly atmosphere making the transition from having our Mom with us to saying goodbye to her a joyful one. I highly recommend their funeral services. God bless them all.

Losing your Mother is hard.

Making after life arrangements in a deeply emotional time is something that can be overwhelming. Managing multi-generational expectations can also be a challenge during these trying times.

Mr. Butch Irby of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow stepped in and took care of everything for us. When decisions had to be made, he carefully and patiently explained our options. He had to go over the same options several times and never showed any impatience with our indecisiveness.

Butch listened to our family stories with compassion and patience. We felt like we were talking with a long-time family friend. Butch handled all the details. He handled unusual requests that I am sure were not part of typical after life arrangements. We were kept informed of every step of the process. All of this was done with great professionalism and huge compassion and I am very grateful.
