Authentic Belgian waffles 🧇 and chocolates! Felt like I was in Europe 🇪🇺. I visited Belgium 🇧🇪 back in 2018 ,and plan to go hopefully the holiday season. Im totally looking forward to the food 😋. This place will have to do for now. But, it's well worth the wait! Food was delicious

We went here on a whim and this place did not disappoint! The gentleman we spoke with was kind and funny. He even wrote microwave time suggestions on our To-go boxes to make sure our sweets were warmed up properly. The atmosphere itself was so artsy and romantic. The deserts we ordered were delicious and cozy. It was a unique flavoring that was like an elevated take on home cooking. Like how do you make a chocolate chip cookie taste so fancy?! (Also love the fact that they were giant cookies haha)

Had an exceptional dessert here for the first time. We got the belgian waffle #9 “The Princess Anne”. It was one of the best thing my partner and I had the pleasure of trying. The owner was super nice and hospitable to us and other guest. Very awesome local spot. Will be back! (P.S they also have some beautiful art pieces on display!)

My husband and I absolutely love this place, we first found it when it was still located near the Alamo. This has been our go-to for Belgium waffles, we haven’t even searched for any in our area, and instead drive the 3-4 hrs from our city. We basically plan a weekend around the waffles, like we did this weekend. We always get the same thing, 2 waffles with strawberries and cream. we should definitely try something else but the waffles are perfect. The smell as you walk in, is one you’ll forever remember. The atmosphere and the friendliness is the best! We’ll be back soon for sure.

Been there three times and each time was amazing, the waffles were definitely tasty, every bite just brought joys to us! The owners were kind and nice, and you can tell they're passionate about their food!

EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO HERE!!! The Belgian waffle was SPECTACULAR. I swear time stopped when I took the first bite. I felt this food in my soul. I'm not a religious person, but I swear this place is a bit of Heaven.

I ordered the waffle with Nutella and bananas and my husband ordered the one with Belgian chocolate sauce and ice cream. One plate is enough for 2 people, but we didn't know before we ordered. We paid about $30 total, BUT IT IS WORTH THE PRICE.

Also, it's worth the wait. Each order of waffles takes about 15 minutes to make, BUT IT'S WORTH THE WAIT. It's made from scratch, and it's delicious.

GO TO THIS PLACE. TIP WELL. YOU'LL BE BACK. I swear.♡

Amazing bakery! fresh ingredients and not overly sweet and very tasty! The ambiance and music is like you’re in Europe! They have a TON of different kinds of quiche! We are definitely coming back!

Read great reviews so we had to try it. It did not disappoint. We tried a panini and the waffles. The waffles have so many options but honestly they're so good you don't need a lot of toppings. We had several different ones but my favorite was the one with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Delicious!

This place is one of the best culinary experiences in San Antonio. The potato soup can only be described as having a Thousand Angels 😇 . Massaging your tastebuds.. Belgian Sweets, is one of the few restaurants that has a menu where there are no bad choices. Monday and Tuesday are gonna be very hard on me because the shop is closed. The atmosphere of the shop is like eating in a European bakery /museum. The bakery was the highlight of my weekend. I love ❤ this place!

The authentic Belgian waffles are worth the wait! Warning: they often sell out as there’s only so much waffle batter made each day. A must try SA dessert spot!

Not knowing this place existed, we just happened to see it while driving by today, July 28th and thought we should give it a try. We only had a few items, but we were so amazed by how fantastic everything tasted. While the items are a bit pricey, the flavor was beyond comprehension. We will definitely come back and order more items again and again.

I visited on a Sunday evening with a few of my friends. There were only two employees present but their service was top notch. The quality of all of orders was excellent and presented well on our plates. Their waffles are easily the best I've had anywhere. I will not hesitate to recommend this Belgian Sweets if you're craving ice cream, cheesecake, a Belgian waffle, or something else similar.

My husband got the idea to try this place out. They did NOT disappoint!! The employees were polite! The food was amazing! I’m so glad the gentleman who took our order convinced me to try it before I took it to go! It was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! I definitely recommend coming here!!! You will love it! I’m sorry the picture with the ice cream(Belgian chocolate)does this place no justice but I ate most majority of it before realizing I needed to show it. The single scoop is a pretty good amount! Yes!!! I went here with my bf. We totally loved this place. It was cozy and the people are friendly. It's also a lovely atmosphere and environment. They also have antique furniture that makes this place even more special. You can see the owner make the waffles in front of you. It takes time. Kind of like making a pizza. He makes it like an artform. And you can tell he works hard. He's a cool guy. You can tell he makes it with love. We had the cookie butter waffle and the strawberries and cream waffle with chai lattes. It's such a good place to treat yourself and reminisce and look at the tourists and people pass in front of you with their huge windows. Recommend if your a tourist or not. 🙌👍

We pick up desserts here at least once a month, and recommend this to everyone who comes to visit town. The owner is so sweet and always makes sure to give us microwave instructions with our desserts for maximum enjoyment.

I actually just returned from Belgium, and these waffles taste just like they do in Brussels or Ghent. The place does a good job trying to recreate the Belgian ambiance as well, although it’s a tall order when you don’t have the architecture or the traveler’s high helping you out. Either way, the waffles are large, seductive and delicious.

The best Belgian waffles I’ve had on this planet, and I’m not even hyping it. Everything was amazing at this place. You just want to order one of everything that’s available. Very unique concept and decor in the restaurant to bring out the French vibes. Definitely worth to check this place out!

I love this place! The Belgian Waffles are soooooo amazing and they are even delicious plain. The hot sandwiches are finger-licking good! I would drive from Katy just to have lunch here again. The owner is so nice and was helpful on what to order since it was my first time. We will definitely be coming back. I wish you had a location in Katy or Houston.

Belgian Sweets is a brilliant little hole-in-the-wall eatery and dessert shop with a delightful cozy atmosphere. They carry an over the top selection. From sandwiches, quiches, coffees and teas to cakes, ice cream, truffles and of course, made to order fresh Belgian waffles topped any way you want em! I highly suggest the Belgian chocolate infused milk! If you like chocolate milk and like your chocolate dark, then this is quite possibly the best glass of milk you'll ever drink!

This was an amazing dessert experience. We had some truffles, Belgian chocolate ice cream, hot chocolate, and a giant cookie, and it was SO GOOD. The ice cream had flecks of Belgian chocolate in it, the hot chocolate was rich and European style (not the thickness of stopping chocolate, but the richness and depth), the cookie was buttery and warm, and the chocolates were all delightful. This will be a reason we come back to San Antonio in the future
