Chicken N Pickle - San Antonio

First impression is everything. A great fun place to enjoy delicious chicken and playing some pickleball (like mini tennis activity). It's definitely a outdoor family fun and casual experiences in SA. Chicken N Pickle at this location opened little over 4 years. Came in and tried recommended chipotle chicken bowl. Pictures worth a thousand words. Will definitely come back to try street taco and other goodies. Great atmosphere and spacious seatings and chair/bench everywhere. Big outdoor amenities including private room for 20+ guests. Perfect for birthday or team building event. They have two full sport bars with TVs and music. They got it all indoor and outdoor activity. The staffs and servers are very friendly and attentive. Bigs shout out to Adri.anna and shift manager Lena and everyone for such a good experience. They even have live music on Friday and Saturday night. Come by and check out yourself. Highly recommend for any visitors or chicken lovers. 🎾👍

You can come here just for the good food! No pickle balling required. I had the pimento cheese chicken sandwich and it was great. Great flavor and portion on this creation. My sweet potato fries were good but not hot. Ranch is homemade and delicious. Perhaps not ideal for solo dining because it’s packed even at a non-peak eating time.

First time here today to celebrate my birthday and it was such a great experience! Was attended by about 6 employees but our servers were Samantha and Dylan (hope I spelled that right!) There were tons of teamwork and attentiveness to us and surrounding customers. Great service, amazing food, perfect atmosphere. Looking forward to going back!

The jalapeno deviled eggs were to die for my Chicken Sandwich with pimento cheese was also delicious. Everything I ate was so good. I found it a little strange that you have to order your food from downstairs Because there was quite a line but it was Super Bowl Sunday, and for how busy they were It did not take long at all to get my food. I was very happy with the atmosphere and everything that we ordered.

This place is great! It's fun, entertaining, clean and well staffed. Go for some pickle ball or good times with friends or family. The food is delicious and there are plenty of options. Drinks are properly made and the beer options are plentiful . Sit outside around a fire or inside one of the many rooms. My favorite is the top floor on the outside patio with nice views and staff ready to serve from the bar upstairs. Give this place a visit and enjoy the good times. Plenty to try and do . Entertainment options are everywhere you look.

This place has it ALL! Great food, live music, bowling, pickle ball, and more. They have a huge outdoor area with pickle ball courts and plenty of seating. The pavilions have TVs so you can watch games. The live band area has plenty of space for lounging and dancing if you want to. The place is completely dog friendly, which is awesome. There is plenty of parking, but it does get somewhat crowded in the lot.
Pickle Ball is very popular. The courts can get a little crowded, so calling for a reservation is probably best. Honestly, I'll keep going back for the food and music.

We had a great dinner here at chicken and pickle. What a great atmosphere, and there is a lot of other activities to do while you were enjoying your dinner. I had the ribs and fries. The ribs were cooked to perfection and just fell off the bone. Definitely recommend a group group of friends

This was my first visit to a Chicken N Pickle. What a great venue! We stopped by for lunch and to check out the venue. Lots of players getting after it. The outdoor seating infrint of the stage was plentiful. I liked that they had both indoor and outdoor courts going. The restaurant was spacious and clean. I ordered the country fried chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken was superb, well cooked, and juicy. It was huge! The tots were hot, crunchy, and plentiful. Our server was attentive and very friendly. I highly recommend this place even if you are not playing pickleball.

We love coming here! You have to reserve courts in advance because they tend to fill up quickly. We paid $45 for an hour on an outdoor court. It was our first time bringing our teenage daughter to play pickleball, and the staff was very nice and helpful. We also had lunch while we were there and the food and drinks were on point! My daughter got a monster quesadilla while my husband and I shared some tostadas de carnitas. I also had the guava paloma which was delicious! Can't recommend this place enough for a family outing. There are a bunch of courts, but they also have other games like bocce ball, jenga and even giant battleship. What a fun time!

***MILITARY DISCOUNT*** AWESOME atemosphere. The courts are plentiful, indoor and outdoor. The best court is the Texas court which is over to the side away from everyone. Plenty of tables to have a large family group watch while you play.

The New 21 and over Holiday Hideaway rooftop Christmas themed area is awesome! I felt like I was trasported to a cozy mountain top ski resort. Definitely coming back with the adults for that.

A+ venue. Attended on New Years Day for the 4th Annual Hangover Pickleball Tournament. Well run. The facilities are top notch and the food was really good. We had the Pickled Chicken Sandwich with Tater Tots and the Chicken & Ribs. You can tell the chicken is quality and properly cooked.

$5 open play for Pickleball at a venue like that can’t be beat. I believe they are building more around the US.

Fantastic place to hangout with your friends and family!! Plenty of space to find a spot for you and your group. The food was really, really good, too. We had the BBQ chicken as well as the brisket. Burgh were wonderful. The location is right in a great part of town with easy access to both I-10 and 1604. There is ample parking and we greeted a soon as we sat down. Definitely check out the Chicken N Pickle next time you're wanting a fun night out!!

Great FAMILY sports bar feel but with tons of cool places to eat, sir, drink. Pickle ball courts all over, of course, hence the name.
Didn't have chicken but the burgers and beer selection were EXCELLENT and perfect service. Whoever is running this one--GREAT JOB!

Had a small adult birthday get-together. The food was delicious, and the drinks were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were plenty of things to do and our little ones were able to stay busy with all the games. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is having a small gathering.

This place is huge and great for large parties. Ample parking and wide parking spaces.
We had the pulled pork sandwiches and they were great. The BBQ sauce is spicy and the spicy coleslaw is really spicy however it's a tasty set.
I look forward to coming back to try other things.

Best place in town to play some pickleball and to grab some food simultaneously. Atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly. They have a calendar with lots of opportunities for open play from beginner to advanced. The facilities are basically brand new and the indoor courts are top notch. For open play it’s about $5 per person unless you come from 8-10am for senior hours which is $4. Highly recommend coming for open play or to reserve a courts (about $40 per hour). The food is also really good and prices are reasonable.

This place is great for family, friends, and co-worker events. There are so many activities to do. On monday night they had trivia. The chicken sandwiches are really good and the street corn is also great.

We went mainly for the games and entertainment and we were not disappointed. We had an indoor pickleball court, and after our time was up, we found outdoor seating and played corn hole. After sunset, a live cover band performed--it was a vibe! We had originally decided we wouldn't eat here since we didn't really enjoy the food our first time here, but eventually, we had some wings, tostadas, corn, and french fries. They were okay. Better than my first experience. We also had 2 old fashioneds and a frozen strawberry margarita. They were pretty tasty. The experience was overall great!

Awesome place! Great service. Leo the manager took care of us as we had an issue with a drink saw him helping around everywhere. The service was amazing, food was great, but the parking was tight.
