All the other reviews are for their more expensive and broad selection and knowledgeable staff. Just for the record I went for cheap rum and local beer and also had a good, straightforward experience. Clean little local shop, can’t go wrong!

Definitely a great place (best in San Antonio) to find special selections on wine and liquor. The management of this establishment know what they are doing and are always willing to help educate and answer any questions I may have. I've found a couple rare selections on whiskey and wine in the past that I in no way would have found anywhere else in the city for the price that I bought it for.

Excellent selection. Interesting choices you can't find at Spec's or Total Wine. Worth a visit. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Seems like they really enjoy their jobs...who wouldn't enjoy selling such a great selection of alcohol?

I came here seeking help for a "wine emergency," as I needed something good to help my girl with her poetically horrible week. The only thing I knew about wine was the difference between red and white. When I asked the gentlemen there for help, not only did they work with me in a warm and professional matter, they knew just what I needed! She loved the choices. Therefore, while I can't guarantee you the bottom line lowest price by shopping here, what you will find is a place to stoke your passion for wine, be it new or old. Thanks again guys!

The people there take the time to get to know you and what you like. They have helped out with stocking parties for us and are very flexible. They carry high end stuff and know how to tailor the right bottle to you.

The only place I could find in town that carries a full range of Japanese Wiskeys. The man behind the counter was courteous and knowledgeable.
