Best salsa and prices in town. Everyone was friendly and our food came out fast. I had a Burrito Fajita the size of a football and it was delicious. I may not had ordered it, had I known how big it was since I hate wasting food and I didn't think my remaining half burrito would make it another 5 hours in the car before I got home. My husband got the Guacamole Cesaro Especial w/ grilled shrimp and that was also huge and a great price for how much he got. He said it was the best he's ever had. This will definitely be our new go-to whenever we're in town.

Nelo's is the best Mexican food in McMinnville. Roberto and his staff are on another level compared to the others. Food is high quality and fresh. Great folks as well.

OMG! This is not Americanized fast food Mexican. The food was fresh and homemade. It didn't appear or taste like heated frozen food. This was refreshing! Can't wait to bring friends!

Staff was very friendly and prompt in service. Every staff member we encountered was polite and maintained a warm, welcoming demeanor.

The interior and decor is a bit underwhelming. While I realize that the atmosphere in the environment is important, the staff and food make up for the dated interior. However, the booths, tables, and chairs appeared to be quality and were branded with the Nelo's name and a picturesque view on the table tops.

Our server was quick to take our drink order and bring out chips and salsa. The salsa seemed to be homemade and not store bought, which in my opinion, is a must for any good Mexican restaurant. The queso was delicious as well, it was creamy, but not overly thick, with a bit of heat.

The price point for everything, including seafood and steak items, was very reasonably priced.

My husband had the steak fajitas and I had Pollo Reyna. Both of our food arrived together, hot and fresh. The portion size was bigger than expected, but the quality of the food was exceptional. The veggies in the fajitas were vibrant and appeared fresh, the steak was tender and flavorful. The typical side items that came with the meal were rice, pico de gallo, guacamole, refried beans, lettuce, and sour cream. Again, the freshness of the veg items used was apparent. The guacamole and beans were house made and very flavorful.

The chicken I received was thin, but tender, juicy, and very flavorful. Chorizo was a bit charred on top which brought a nice crisp texture to the rest of the dish.

Another detail we appreciated was the softness of the tortillas that were provided with the meal. Not sure if they were house made or not, but they were soft and didn't have an overly processed taste like store bought.

Our total was just over 32 dollars, for 2 entrees, queso, and 2 beverages. If you haven't tried it, you should go and discover your new favorite Mexican restaurant in the area.

Great food and amazing service! We had a large group and the staff were very accommodating. The potions were huge and the menu was full of options.

We frequent this place for to go orders and are so glad it isn't far down the road. We always have a pretty good experience but tonight they left off the chicken on my meal and didn't give us any tortillas. I usually just make due when something goes wrong at a restaurant but this time we called and explained and they made it right with us and gave us a huge plate of cheesy chicken to come back and pick up for our order. They were pleasant about making it right and that means a lot. I always feel bad to have to complain. Thank you so much and we will continue to be loyal customers 😊

Portions are well worth the price. If you leave hungry you may need to go to doctor cause I doubt it is lack of food. And the food is so delicious . The menu has somethingfor everyone. The service is outstanding in quality . Sorry no pictures we couldn't wait to start eating after smelling the scrumptious aroma.

We go on occasion.Just stopped and grabbed order to go.
Service still outstanding. So welcoming and sweet. I didnt think it was possible but food has gotten even better. And have leftovers for another meal.

Friendly, fast service. Clean and well kept interior. The food was hot, plentiful, and tasty. I ordered a draft beer with my meal, but it didn't taste right. My waitress immediately took it off my bill. Honest folks.

Had the Fajitas Hawaiian, it was great. Boyfriend had Hawaiian burrito, also great.

The BEST salsa in mcminnville, not watered down, has good flavor, and perfect texture. The queso dip is great, too. Their lunch deals are perfect, great price and perfect portions. I always get the chicken plate with tortillas and it has the best taste of any chicken plate in mcminnville for sure! The perfect ratio of chicken to rice (shout out to all my rice-lovers out there! the chicken doesn’t overtake the rice, my friends!!) and 3 tortillas is just enough. Their beans are so good and seasoned just right. We come here regularly because the flavor is just unbeatable. Thank y’all so much for being here, we love the food and the experience! Wonderful waiters and they always do a great job!

Love this place. It is perhaps the best Mexican in town. Prices are reasonable and you get quite a lot of food. The owner is usually there and he is real friendly. Go enough and he remembers you. Staff is great. Everything is clean including the restrooms. Olenty of room and really only real busy at night, but still always a place to sit. Would recommend if visiting or you live here.

Big portions, great menu that caters to the whole family! Amazing staff and wonderful owners. Always a must when I’m visiting McMinnville.

The best Mexican food in Warren county!

Always can tell a good place by their salsa and it was delicious and fresh. The food was realy good as well. Ordered the Hawaii burrito and it was really good.

The restaurant and staff were very nice. Excellent food. I had one of the seafood platters and my wife had the shrimp tacos. Both were excellent. The restaurant became very busy while we were there. The staff though kept things moving. We ordered a to go of Enchilada Rancheras. I have had them at other restaurants but Nelo's does them even better. My daughter was very happy with the choice we made for her. Overall I hope this restaurant keeps up the hard work and good offerings.
