Love the caps and T-shirts at the mountain general store. Great sandwiches and soft drinks when your exploring this beautiful area on Tennessee's Cumberland Plateau. The owner is a war-time Veteran of Vietnam and scars to prove it and he is a patriot who loves America and all who visit.

Don't go here if you can't hang with the big dogs, because there is literally one in the store! This place is great. A true Appalachian monument frozen in time. Go and meet the owner Randall and he'll treat you like family and get a big ol' bologna sandwich!

Been going to this gem since Randall's dad Bev ran it. Always has been the most friendlist people around. Sandwiches with bologna, ham, or liverloaf so big you can make 3 meals out of it. You will NEVER meet a more genuine person then Randall Tay's.

Haven't seen him in a long time but I love the place love the thick-cut bologna sandwiches and beer boiled hotdogs don't know if he remembers but we used to park a bus up there would go up there all the time
