Picked up a pre-ordered chicken pot pie this morning. Like everything else Kat and her team create, it was AMAZING! Can't wait to eat the Vegan (actually Vegetarian) pot pie later this week. The folks at Muddy's always find a way to go above and beyond with great food and wonderful hospitality.

Yall went above and beyond to make my daughter’s birthday happen with the rainbow cake. Your cake is top notch and so much better than Frost. Everyone at the party loved it. You definitely have a lifetime customer now!

Everything gets an A+++ from me! I felt so taken care of & welcome here when I stopped in for the first time! Always looking for great local bakeries when I’m in a different city. If I lived in Memphis, I’d be here all the time. Quality deserts & people!

I had the most delightful visit to Muddys Bake Shop on Broad Avenue! Their cupcakes were absolutely fantastic, and the peach pie was a real treat. I almost couldn't resist picking up some of their cute hand towels too. (I will definitely be back!) Plus, the chic outdoor seating area with bubbles added a charming touch. It's got that wonderful local feel that makes it a must-visit spot!

Really cute shop and you can see in the back of the bakery from the street windows. The Prozac chocolate cupcake was divine, and the Bday cake one with cream cheese icing second. A slice of vanilla cake was our least favorite, but definitely recommend all the cupcakes. Ironing boards for patio tables 🙂 Great dessert stop on a road trip!

I attended a baking class with a bridal party (there were 9 of us there). The instructors, Leah and Alyssa, were so sweet, fun, and clear in the class! They had a lot of pro tips and break based educational bits.
We made scones which usually seems daunting but they offered a lot of tips that helped all of us, many of us being non-bakers, less than beginners! And by the end we all had really great baked goods to take home.
Also, they gave us a coupon to use in the store on baking supplies for after.
Great experience, great instructors, great recipes, great food! Go have fun!

Those cupcakes are delicious! We had the mini chocolate aka Prozac, the strawberry and the vanilla. But we loved the vanilla wafers too! Definitely worth a stop! Staff was super nice and professional!

Really great, pies, cakes, cupcakes, etc. My favorite is the Key Lime Pie.

I am from out of town, but placed an order with Muddy's for my sister's birthday cake after reading positive reviews. I had a seamless experience with this bakery - from the ease of online order to the fast and friendly pick-up. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly in-person. Even though it was my first visit, it felt like I was a regular. The cake looked very professional and exactly as I'd requested. It tasted great, as well! We had the Plain Jane (vanilla). The cake itself was not overly sweet and the frosting was that classic homemade buttercream you know and love - just like grandma used to make! Overall, a great experience.

I have ordered from them several times and the cupcakes/cakes are always so good! The staff is amazing and I planned to use them for my baby shower. We thought I had gone into labor early and not only were they super helpful with a refund and cancelation, when I later found out baby wasn't quite ready they were ready and willing to make a new batch of cup cakes for the shower. I can't express how happy I am and grateful to have worked with them through this!

Such a lil gem! Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, they have tiny treats you can try before you buy, and the selection of baked goods and baking stuff was amazing. Definitely try the banana pudding and a cupcake!

Bakeries are my favorite, and this bakery has the best chocolate on chocolate cupcake I have ever had! We brought our leadership team for the Fearless Feedback course offered by Kat Gordon. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Best bakery in Memphis! The service is so good and the employees are friendly and helpful. You can’t go wrong with anything there. The take & bake chicken pot pies? Incredible. Cookies? Amazing. Cupcakes with buttercream? I’d sell my soul for them. There’s not a single item I’ve had from there that isn’t the most delicious of its kind. Come once & you’ll be back many, many times.

I've been a supporter of Muddy's Bake Shop for nearly ten years now, which is insane to think about! The location off Sanderlin was originally the hangout spot for my friends in high school and during normal times, we still love to meet there when we're all together in town. This was my first time to the Broad Avenue location even after passing it so many times on the new bike lanes. I'm very pleased with the social distancing measures they have in place and everything was done in a professional manner. I purchased one small box of Capote cupcakes for a friend and these two boxes for myself (one didn't make it home because I couldn't resist). No one turns down a Muddy's cupcake (or any of their other fabulous products) so remember to shop local and be safe out there!

Muddy’s is amazing! They’ve been a favorite of mine for years, and I have never had a bad item here. Service is always friendly, and can I mention again how delicious everything is? Personal favorites include the Frankly Scarlett cupcake, the Prozac cupcake, and the banana pudding. Oh, and they also make custom cakes, which are also AMAZING!

I always stop at Muddy’s when I’m in Memphis! Best buttercream I’ve ever had, no matter which flavor it is. Got a bag full of goodies to take back to Austin with me.
