Debbie's Drive Inn

First time here. We didn’t try any of the food but came for ice cream and was not disappointed! Hubby got the Hot Fudge Cake Sundae and I asked for a medium chocolate soft serve. I cannot believe how big the soft serve was and how delicious the cake sundae is! Both of these for only $8! Super impressed will be back to try more items on the menu!

Came across this little gem today and we were delighted. Service with a smile at this little old fashion drive-up restaurant. The BBQ sandwich was delish, the tater tots and French fries were hot, crispy and salted perfectly, hubby loved the double hamburger. We will definitely be back again and next time we will save room for ice cream!

Although a bit far off I-40 heading toward Asheville, this was a surprise, fun stop for lunch. The posted menu is nicely priced. The barbecue sandwich was large and tasty, with tomato and mayo added. Fine cut Cole slaw was tasty too.

Amazingly, we were waited on right in our car. The hard-working gal could have smiled more, but she was efficient handling ten vehicles at once.

All in all, I recommend Debbie's Drive-In for a fun alternative to the usuL fast food places you see just off the Interstate.

I gave Debbie's Drive Inn 5 stars because it is a seldom seen icon in today's changing world! We really enjoy supporting the hometown businesses and helping keep them going. The food and service was great and their business was busy the day we were there. We love the atmosphere because it brings back many memories. I'd encourage anyone that wants good food with great service to stop in and take a step back in time when you got what you paid for with a friendly smile and kind words to boot!

Great old fashioned drive in food and atmosphere. The club and the cheeseburgers are my fav’s. The sundae’s, shakes and banana splits are awesome!

I got there around 12:30ish, I order the club w/ fries and ordered my dogs 2 cheeseburgers plain add bacon. Total came to $16.70 and only lady there taking orders and running around to all 15 cars apologized for the wait. When there's just an older lady doing all the waitressing expect to wait.

We stopped there for the first time the other day. I saw one of the waitresses bringing a customer a soft serve ice cream cone, and I had to go back and get one! Little did I know they had chocolate and vanilla swirl like they used to have at a restaurant in my home town called "Twin Kiss"! I got the cone and my husband got a strawberry sundae. They were awesome!! They were so good! So reasonably priced, too! The service was excellent, also. They have a very good variety of offerings on their food menu, too. We can't wait to go back and try that next. Next time I'll try to take pictures! We will definitely be back!

Usually a few cars there. We had ice cream. Prices are high as with everywhere after Covid. Easy in and out. Love the little place. Worth a visit.

Best peanut butter shake I ever had. Cheeseburger so tasty. Attendants super friendly and professional. Long live Debbie’s!!!

First time at Debbie's Drive in and it was delicious. Cheeseburger had an excellent taste and flavor and the cheddar rounds were excellent as well. Waitress was friendly came out and greeted us. I would definitely eat there again.

I got their very generous sized banana split... I would recommend sharing this due to size and weight.

The girls and Deb are always friendly and ready to take your order rain or shine. We love eating at Debs as always the food is always hot and great!

It was one of the most Awesome and Amazingly great food places that I have ever eaten at!! I personally love home-cooked food!! And I would like to say thank you Jesus for your guys food was Awesome and I look forward to seeing you soon!!

Great little drive-in. If you're looking for some really good food, that's quick,this is the place. I personally like to try and support locally owned businesses, and this one checked all my boxes. The burgers are on point as well as the crinkle cut fries,onion rings, and tatertots along with really good milkshakes.

Or car hop was amazing! I will definitely come back. Best service in Newport

One of the best double cheeseburgers I've ever had. The bun was a little soaked with grease but that just made it better. The slaw dog and peanut butter banana shake were really good too. The fries were decent, but could have been a little crisper. For a double cheeseburger, slaw dog, fries and shake was about $21 plus tip. I think it was worth it. The burgers are pretty big. Everything was good.

Waitress was great! The food was awesome! My fiance and i stopped by on our way back home. It was the only place that caught our attention. We were not disappointed at all. 10/10 recommend!😃

So good! Their fried tater chips are A-mazing!😊💕 it does take some time, but well worth the wait for fresh hot goodies😊
