Cumberland Plateau Retreat

Sheer delight staying at Cumberland Plateau Retreat Twin Oaks cabin!! A little piece of paradise with a rustic coziness that offered every comfort in an indescribable setting. Luxury camping indoors and outdoors. Our host Jim Campbell welcomed us like family. As beautiful as the online photos were, they could never live up to what it felt like being there. Pristine clean, comfort, wood design from floor to ceiling, dishes, all the appliances including washer and dryer, little wonder that we felt we were “home away from home”. We appreciated every recommendation of places to visit. Everything surpassed our expectations. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved the Cabins & had a very relaxing, peaceful visit!! The Cabins are beautifully decorated & exceptionally clean! We enjoyed talking to Jim & loved hearing the history of the 4 Cabins. We received awesome hospitality from Sheryl and would like to thank her for everything!

Amazing place!!! Quiet, clean, and the staff was extremely helpful. They make you feel like family as soon as you arrive. Also a very short drive the Fall Creek Falls State Park!!

Highly recommend! We enjoyed our stay. Clean and neat cabin. We were welcomed and made sure we had everything we needed. We hiked Fall Creek Falls and the cabin was a comfortable distance from travel. We will be returning for future trips!

Such a wonderful place to stay when visiting Fall Creek Falls! It’s right outside the park!
Nice and quite cabins and every one has its own fire pit, enclosed porch and picnic area. Lots of cool trails to walk on the property and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. We’ve been a few times and will definitely be coming back!

Quiet place. Jim was very attentive and gracious. Had a great time hiking several waterfalls in the area. This place has everything you need including fire wood for the fire pit out by the swings. Thanks for the hospitality. The Shane's Tupelo, MS

Nice place, owner is on the property. It's set back in the woods. Rooms are nice. There is fire pit for each cabin. Grocery store is about 10 minutes away. Restaurants aren't quite as close. Fall Creek Falls is about 20 minutes or so.

Best cabin ever!!! They were really nice and helpful. They literally provided everything. Yes, that includes towels, blankets, kitchenware like spoons, plates, pots, pans,etc. The only thing you had to bring was food.

Peaceful location, quaint cabin, perfect for our Anniversary trip.

Very peaceful. We stayed in the autumn breeze cabin which is the smallest and it was perfect. The only thing that we brought was food and toiletries. Everything else is provided.
