Newport Dry Goods

The store itself is awesome, it's got the old wooden floors that creak when you walk on them. They have so much stuff to choose from, they are the best store to get my work boots and overalls at. And the staff are the most awesome, they all are so kind and sweet and will help you with anything they can. If you haven't been bye go check it out guarantee you will like it.

Great prices on name brands. Big selection of items as well as clothing. Located in a vintage building. Friendly and accommodating staff, large dressing rooms. I will go there every time I get back to Newport. I recommend it for personal shopping and for gifts, too.

Great old fashioned family type store. Fantastic bargains on clothes and shoes and homegoods too. Fast turn over on inventory and brand names at very affordable prices.

SADLY NEWPORT DRY GOODS IS NOW IN THE "GOING OUT OF BUSINESS" category. I am very sad to see this.

Newport Dry Goods is great. They have quiet a bit of name brand stuff they sell for way under retail due to blemishes. But I've never seen a blemish that really jumped out at me. They also have layaway which is handy if you find several things in your size and don't want to or can't purchase all at once. Since the blimished items they get aren't guaranteed in certain sizes if they have your size in something you want it's best to get as many pairs as you want or need. I use it alot for the liberty overalls and Duluth Trading Company pants so I can get several pairs since it's kinda hard to find my size sometimes.

Great place. Never know what you are going to find. GOT A $11 bathing suit that would have been $40 in Florida. Mens suit jackets for $15. Just beautiful. Love it.

Great prices. Friendly service. Large selection of clothes. A variety of other merchandise. Every time I have been there it was neat and orderly. The place has a very big welcome to it. I usually find see something there that I have not seen in a while..I love it.

Such a great small town store with very low prices on quality clothing. They also have home decor, some hardware items and accessories. Check them out and support a local private owned business.

A little hidden gem!!!! I found this place by accident as i was taking a break from driving westbound on I-40 towards east Knoxville. They have a huge selection new clothes and shoes for men and women both. Everything was priced extremely low. Unfortunately, I discovered the little gem just minutes before they closed. Looking forward to the next stop and shop here, of course next time i will arrive with adequate time to browse the entire store.

I have always loved Newport Dry Goods, I remember my mamaw Sarah and my mom shop there. Its a store thats part of my history of living in Newport Tn. Born and raised. Found out after all these years Dry Goods is closing their doors 😔

Look around in this store, and you can find some good Bargains on inexpensive sunglasses, accessories, shirts, socks, shoes, and pants for both men and women. They also have a few leather shoes, and nice sneakers. In another room they have knick knacks and other things for your house.

If you are in Newport you should stop in and browse this "old time" drygoods store. Plan on spending an hour or two looking at all the bargains. Clothing, home decor and knick knacks. You never know what you might find just looking over each aisle. Items change so plan on visiting whenever you are in the area. Employees are always so friendly and helpful.

I've always loved Newport Dry Goods. They have a great selection of clothes and other merchandise at absolutely fantastic prices.... like 70%+ off mall prices!!

My favorite place to stock up on sunglasses. I always lose them. Dry Goods stocks multiple racks of sunglasses for cheap...getting new ones makes me feel better about losing the last pair. 😆

This place is awesome it has been around since 1967 and they have everything you need from shoes and car accessories and they even have the old timey overalls and they also have the pull over coveralls like you pull over your clothes to work on a car.and the same family has owned this business for all theirs years.they are very friendly and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Love this place lots of good things in there at a fraction of the cost and good quality of their goods my favorite place friendly people owner is always there and hands on to make sure you are satisfied if you have a problem with anything you purchase they will make it right
