Good food, small-town family place. Fast with friendly service. Good burger, not huge patties but very tasty. Going to try breakfast tomorrow!

This is a great little locally owned cafe with down home cooking. They have a regular menu and daily specials which usually sell out, especially Thursday which is fried chicken. I'll take mom and pop restaurants like this any day over a chain. You will get a great meal and Michael will even fill you in on the town's history or information about Fall Creek Falls State Park. You might even get to meet Miss Van Buren County.

If you are ever in Spencer or passing by, you must stop at Old Times Cafe! Great food and people own this family business, they make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door!

We just dropped in, and it was great!!
Roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, fried squash, greens, and corn bread!!
And topped it off with coconut pie!!

Traveling north on Hwy 111. Found the restaurant. Stopped and it was great. CASH only, no problem. Had front toast and sausage. Mom had the plate lunch, turnip greens, mashed potatoes, corn bread, white beans and pork chop. Mom said it was great, much better than the restaurants at home she goes to.

Awesome, home cooked meal. Delicious. Highly recommend!

We spent the day in Fall Creek Falls and was looking for a place to catch dinner on the way home! This lil gem did not disappoint! Great food, fantastic people! Good price! We will be back! I wished it were closer to our town!

Man these guys got the best burgers I've ever tasted! No kidding, that thing just melted in my mouth and had SO much flavor, MAN! Speechless!! Got to stop in and grab n go or just relax..great people, great service, great burgers and good conversations are all here in one place!

Be aware it is cash payment only! Service was excellent!! Food was great. Absolutely wonderful burgers and everything was fresh and hot!!! Staff wer very friendly! Dining room was very clean. Everything well taken care of. Definitely will come back again.

We are currently on vacation in Sparta TN, and when we looked up "breakfast near me" this cute little place popped up. We were honestly nervous about ordering, because we thought the menu we found would be outdated by now. It surprisingly wasn't! We got two full breakfast meals for around $9! The food was really good and the workers were so nice! I immediately felt welcomed, and you really can't beat that peice. I definitely recommend :-)

It is a small little Cafe in Spencer and it was some of the best home cooked food I've had in a while. The service was great, and I for sure left full. And they have sundrop on tap which I really love. I hope to go back and eat again soon.
