Pioneer Hall Museum

Love the place! Full of history! The couple that runs it, know their history. I even bought a book. Good reading for the winter.

Great small museum. Lots of local history. Good docents that will personalize your visit. Be sure to buy a copy of Dr. May's book. A good read. Also spend some time outside at the bell, the historical plaque, and the park being developed!

A true jewel packed away in this quaint community. Has lots of information on Pleasant Hill Academy, the town of Pleasant Hill, and the history of medical care in Cumberland County. The guides provide lots of info and are available to answer questions, but there are areas in which you guide yourself through the museum at your own pace.

What an eye opening experience. If you are in the area make sure you stop in and visit this amazing museum. Less then 1 mile off of Hwy 70.

It's a small museum but packed with great history of the area. A must see.

Great little local museum, lots of history

Unfortunately we didn't get to go inside. The hours are only from May to October, which would have been nice to see that on the website before hand. The house from the outside looks like it is in great shape. As do the grounds. There is a bell on the outside with some history. Will have to go back during regular season hours. Maybe then I can give a better review.

Great detailed history of the place but pretty run down and low budget an older couple run it.
