The artifacts were well kept and the docent was very friendly and knowledgeable. They’re getting ready for a remodel soon so many of their artifacts were packed in anticipation of that. I would love to come back when this is finished because this was a fantastic experience even with only 25% of their items on display. Well worth a detour off the highway.

Might you pass through Crossville, Tennessee? Then you would be highly remiss if you do not stop in to The Military Memorial Museum. Come in expecting to “just look” for two minutes, and I guarantee you WILL not leave until a better part of an hour (or more) clicks on!

Every American youth should be REQUIRED to come in to this expansive display of US and World History. Firstly, upon entry, you will meet the affable Ms. Kitty Molenda, who will begin henceforth the introductions to the very informative tour with her uber-knowledgeable Vietnam Veteran husband, Mr. Chuck Molenda. As I alluded to, I had the plan to expend about 15-20 minutes. Almost 2+ hours later with Mr. Molenda, I was growing in my desire to stay and learn even more!

Yes… this museum is that FANTASTIC! ⛑ 🪖

Pics doth say more; the review ends here thusly.

*God bless the USA 🇺🇸 and her Veterans.* 🙏🙏🏾🙏🏿💜 Amen!

Rick, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting facts. It was a much different experience than if we’d chosen to just read the information ourselves and though that still would’ve been a good experience, the tour guide made it great! Lots of artifacts to view and learn about. Thank you veterans!

I loved hearing the stories from the people that are working inside that are a lot of our veterans about the history of our different branches of the military we went in during one of their events. ,we had some great hot chocolate cookies and listen to lots of Stories. Really enjoyed ourselves. There's so much information in knowledge inside that building first small as it is. It is packed with a lot of knowledge. Thank you for all of those that have served and are still serving our great country to make it what it is today.

Our docent was knowledgeable and thorough. The museum has many significant artifacts from America’s wars. He told us about Tennessee’s role in them. This museum is a very worthwhile place to go. We made a donation as we entered the building. We got our money’s worth.

Many neat items from history. Even has items from MASH and other war movies, though mostly authentic items.

I've lived in Cumberland county for over 20 years and visit every few years. They just keep making it better and better. One of the nicest things about this museum (besides the amazing and knowledgeable guides) is the One of a kind historical items related to Cumberland County and it's residents, most of whom are retirees. Most important to me, they present a decently balanced approach in exhibiting items from both the Union and Confederacy as well aa the impact of slavery and Black American contributions. If you like history at all, you really don't want to miss this museum.

Whether you know a lot or a little about our military and those who have contributed to our story as Americans, this is a fantastic place to visit. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. All items are either on loan or have been donated and the displays were thoughtfully put together for a great experience.

This was an interesting discovery in the downtown area. It's small but jam-packed with donated items. Some items are movie props from Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan. There is also an exhibit of the POW camp that was located here in WWII. It was very nice, and the docents were so kind.

The museum is very informative. The volunteers are a jolly group who'll happily give you a tour or tell a story. There are no tickets but they take donations.

Great place to take the kids for a bit.
