We loved it! There are tons of interesting drink selections. My husband and I enjoyed a little private beer tasting by ordering 2 flights and sharing. What a delight! The food was delicious. Specifically, I enjoyed the vegan chicken sandwich, so yum. To quote our server, it’s really “done right!” My husband had the sliders and also loved them.
The owner, Bernard, was on site—very personable and friendly. It’s clear he cares about the quality of experience each patron has. Can’t wait to go back with our adult kids!

The restaurant is a quaint restaurant in the heart of Waxhaw that offers really good, fresh food. The service was also fantastic and our server made great recommendations for food and was also very attentive.

Met a friend there for our 1st real date!! Small quaint and intimate for those "get to know you" conversations over drinks & appetizers. Very charming staff, excellent service!!!

Went to cork and ale with a friend Wednesday night, arrived about 6 and it wasn't crowded. It's a small cozy place with a small-medium indoor space and small patio. Sat on the patio. Got the mushroom pasta special (which they split for us to share) and a mixed greens salad (also split to share) (so portion pictured of both is half. Everything was delicious. Also got a couple draft sours and my friend got a cocktail. Service was good. Will definitely be back.

We’ve always enjoyed our visits. Each time back seems better than the last. Tonight, Reed delivered excellent service with outstanding personality. The food was fantastic. Great food, great wine priced fairly, exceptional service, all together in a warm and inviting atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Thank you to Reed for making sure this was our best visit yet!

Cork and Ale in Waxhaw, perfect place to go with a friend or love one! Food was delicious and service was great. We sat at the courtyard and the ambience make us feel in another side of the world! Unique selection of wine and beer.

I love stopping by for a daily special or to try a new wine or beer. Cory cooks some of the best food in town and Reed always teaches me something new about wine. All of the staff is friendly and quick to go above and beyond to address any concerns.

Loved this little Bistro. Had the She Crab Soup, Watermelon Salad, a lovely Rose and the Kellerbier. Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic! Highly recommend!

We had the best time! The ambiance is cozy, casual but with a sophisticated vibe. With walls lined with craft beers, seltzers & wines, there is a big selection to choose from. Their team was incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable & friendly, so we definitely made a point to have them help us with some selections. We decided to enjoy one of the specials, the Ahi Tuna Chimichurri Salad, it was fresh, fragrant and full of flavor. We enjoyed it so much we are looking forward to the Ahi Tuna Panini next time. We even took quite a few craft beers home & look forward to next time.

Very cute spot and our server, Reed, was very delightful and knowledgeable. He was able to guide us through the drink menu which changes twice daily with new selections including genuine rose and choice sour beers! The food was amazing and I would notably recommend the spicy artichoke and Parmesan dip which was very well balanced and the New England Clam Chowder which had a great ratio of add ins and base.

Perfect little spot in downtown Waxhaw! Food was phenomenal, we had the featured wine by the glass and brought 2 bottles home, a Garnacha from Spain and a Zinfandel from California.

Wine tasting tonight with Reed was fantastic. Such an incredible perspective and knowledge of wine based on being in the wine making business! Such a great resource to learn from a different perspective.

Delicious steak & mashed potatoes! I love the caramelized onion and mushroom topping - will definitely be back for that! The cake is good if you like flourless chocolate cake or chocolate mousse. Lovely looking indoor and outdoor seating.

Get out and see your country. Another great place to start is Waxham, South Carolina. You will learn about the Waxham native Americans and trade. Waxham is a small rural community with great things to do and see. I assure you, you and your family will love the trip.

Dined on patio last weekend 9/30/2023, really enjoyed it! Staff were friendly and helpful, and our waiter Reed from Hawaii was outstanding. Made great suggestions, fun to talk to, attentive service. Would give 4-1/2 stars for food because I reserve 5 stars for only the most amazing, but everything was very good (steak prepared as requested; burrata salad was fresh and tasty). Definitely would go back for the cozy atmosphere and great dining experience next time in Waxhaw.

Bernard and his team hosted our Christmas party. They did a wonderful job. Would highly recommend this venue. We look forward to returning soon.

The food was great, the wine flight was a fun and great choice for me since I’m picky about my wine. I ended up buying 2 of their African wine that night. We sat in their courtyard which was cozy. Highly recommend it!

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. My wife and I had a great experience. Our server, Reed, was very friendly and helped us pick a few bottles of wine out to take home after our dinner. I had a wine flight and it was the perfect pairing to the spread of food we ordered. We had the charcuterie plate, the mac and cheese, the caramelized onion flatbread, and a "Manhattan" steak. Everything was delicious and the steak was one of the best I've ever had. I definitely recommend you try this place out for yourself. You won't be disappointed, thanks to the great crew working there!

Reid was the shining star of this establishment! His service and dedication to the customers was out of this world! His expertise about wine and his service to our country as a veteran is something that should never be overlooked. We wish him the best and hope next time we will be sitting with us versus waiting on us!!!
