Happen to randomly find this hidden gem while searching for something to eat in downtown Waxhaw. The food was amazing and such generous portions. The cook came up to us and asked us how the food was, now that’s a great chef. I can’t wait to try their wings!! The environment is so cool too with the live band playing. Definitely try them out and bring friends bc it’s a fun place to have a good chill time!

Tired their amazing burger and fries, wish I had the belly to try their other offerings. I will definitely be back. want to try their funnel cake next time!

Blue Lagoon just catered our mom's 80th birthday bash at the Walnut Creek Club House for about 50 guests and I've never heard so many compliments from so many guests about the food! We had delicious smoked brisket, shredded chicken sliders, sausage with peppers & onions, incredible homemade mac & cheese, an Amish salad, etc... The set up was on-time, quiet, professional and so friendly. Dave, the owner, personally made our mom feel special. The food, service and price were all outstanding.

What a little hidden gem inside Trax Stop and Shop downtown Waxhaw. The owners, Dave and Marianne have transformed this run of the mill gas station into an awesome Cafe, convenience store and of course you can still full up with gas. With a great price for great food from breakfast and lunch to daily dinner specials, coffee and much more. It might not look much from the outside but it's worth a visit. And they have Donuts from the famous Sugar Donuts on the weekend. Check em out if you get a chance.

Burger and fries and wings were excellent! The burgers are charbroiled and the wings are crispy and delicious!

Pretty darn good food, great service and friendly staff.

I was super excited to try a new place. I’ve lived near Waxhaw for close to a year now, and was surprised to see restaurants which do not often come up when searching for food in reviews. I ordered chicken wings, fried mushrooms, and onion rings. The food was okay. Service was good. I will not be going back.

Got a burger and cheesesteak from the food truck at waxhaw tap house and the burger might’ve been the worst ever. Not even worth $2 and very disappointed after waiting 45 minutes, won’t but again.

Went looking for a food truck after driving across Charlotte to find out they weren’t open? The food truck didn’t even look like they were prepping inside.
