Grassy Sound Charters

I came to surf city wanting to rent a charter boat fishing for my family. After doing much research based on reviews etc grassy sound charters was our choice! My twin boys had the time of there life! The crew was nothing short of excellent service. The boys already want to go again. I have been on many different charters and this was on my top of the list for overall experience. The fishing was excellent! Next time we are in the area we will visit again. Thank you so much grassy sound charters for the experience we will always remember!

Capt. Anthony was the best to take my family and I out for shark fishing! He is a great captain and answered all our questions of curiosity about the boat and waters! He and his first mate helped me to catch my very first shark and checked off a huge bucket list item! I even managed to reel in a huge 6 ft female black tip! Absolute best boating experience and will definitely be back again next year! I highly recommend Grassy Sound Charters and his 3 Little Birds! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I can not recommend Grassy Sound and Capt. Anthony enough. Capt. and his crew were professional and 100% on it. We gave the troll a good run, and l grabbed me a new PB Cuda. We switched over to bottom dropping, and the race was on. We caught a crazy wide variety of fish. From that huge sea bass (take a look at the pic) to the usual suspects Porgy, Grunts, vermillions, and even a red grouper. We will certainly be booking again!

What a great afternoon out on the water! We did the 2hr cruise on the intracoastal waterway with our two young kids. Anthony was the best - very polite, courteous and patient with the barrage of questions from the kids! He waited patiently while we took our fill of dolphin watching and got us back smoothly.

This was so much fun. Captain Anthony was fanatic and knew so much about everything. His first mate kept the lines clear of fish and freshly baited. I would definitely go back on another trip with these two guys so much fun.

Going out with Grassy Sound is always an amazing time on the water!! Capt. Procida is one of the most capable boat captains I've ever met, and he's extremely knowledgeable about catching fish. The sunset cruises are awesome too, you look and feel like a million bucks riding around in a stunning Cape Horn! If you're looking for an awesome adventure in the greater Topsail area and it involves fishing or boating, this is your guy!!

This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had on a charter. I can’t tell you how much everyone enjoyed themselves from our group. When Capt Anthony and his first mate John said we were going to catch a lot of fish they weren’t lying. We had a couple below average anglers on board and even those guys were landing fish left and right! 😁. Thank you for everything! We will surely be doing this again next year!!

Anthony was the best captain - he put with all our questions and craziness. We had the best boat ride and saw the most amazing sunset! This is a 100% must do when visiting Surf City! Worth every penny!!

After having to make a date change due to unsafe weather conditions, we were able to get out and fish. We caught several Bass, Bonita, Grunts and a few small Sharks. We had an excellent time with Anthony and Adam. They are very professional, with top shelf service and communication. I would highly recommend Grassy Sound Charters and will definitely repeat next time we come down.

Mr Anthony is a great charter captain. I could tell that he really wanted to put fish in the boat for us.

My stepdad and I had the greatest experience with Captain Anthony! We targeted bluefin for two days but the bite wasn’t on so we shifted gears to the bottom and absolutely slayed the rockfish along with other various species!! Highly recommended if you’re in the topsail beach area, very knowledgeable and years of experience fishing these waters and all species!!

Anthony is a top notch guide! As a lifelong fisherman I have fished on many boats, I would put this one at the top of the list. Anthony knows the ropes and has a plethora of knowledge to learn from. Will be booking another trip in the future!

We had such a great time going out with them, that we did it twice in a week. Tony and John were great, friendly, and helpful. It is like going fishing with friends you have known for years. I would recommend them to everyone and we will be back to do it again.

Captain Anthony was very attentive to our needs and the boat was fantastic!! (Even has on board facilities😊) All we had to do was sit back and enjoy the trip, would definitely recommend and we can’t wait return!!

My husband booked a charter for 6 with Grassy Sound Charters and it was worth every penny! The captain and mate were friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly safe and helpful. They took time to explain things to the kids (ages 8-15) and made sure everyone had a fun trip. Caught lots of fish and made lots of memories! He will definitely be using Grassy Sound again!!

Been fishing with Captain Tony for some time. Caught everything from seabass to Giant Tuna.Tony has the know how and expertise to put you on the fish when other captains go empty handed. With his Coast Guard (Search and Rescue) background you can feel at ease that the safety of the the passengers and crew is number one.

Great Captain, kids had a lot of action fishing. Highly recommended!
