The food is amazing! I got the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Shrimp Lo Mein. I could live on this meal! The atmosphere was nice, they were busy, but not crowded. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Okay, wow!!! Can I give 10 stars? Get the Lemon Salmon sushi! I didn't expect to find such a delicious and friendly-staffed sushi and Asian cuisine place in a Hampstead strip mall. I drive by here ALL THE TIME and we finally went in for an early dinner. I was blown away by the attention to our table by our sweet server and the food was fresh and taste was on point. We only saw one part of the restaurant but the inside was a lot larger than what it portrays on the outside. Can't wait to come back.

Love this place. Our go-to place for hot and sour soup, shrimp tempura udon (their shrimp is always fresh), lo mein, all the sushi rolls, and just a good friendly atmosphere for hearty Asian food and a beer. Chef is on point all the time.. staff is awesome too. Generous servings on their kids menu with delicious food they'll devour as if I don't feed them at home.

This place is a little hidden gem. Drove by and thought I would try it... WOW!! Best Sushi Ever!! I had the Sexy Girl Roll was wonderful I also had veggie Roll it was great! Edamame 🫛 off the chain! I failed to see the menu because it was folded just easy to over look the hibachi entrees just to let you know it's a loaded menu. My server Kat was on her Game, she made sure I was happy at all times, I asked for extra ginger and wasabi I never waited for anything so nice to have a great server! The Restaurant is nice and clean, large fish tank is beautiful. There are nice booths, large bar, screened tvs this is a hidden treasure great for family, friends, date night or sit at a fantastic full bar mixed drinks, beer on tap too, wine menu. Complete with large screen TVs for Sports night or day time. Plenty of free parking right up front in shopping center.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This was my first time here but I'm like Arnold "I'll be back"!!!

Great food, it was my first time eating here with my cousin and I absolutely loved the food! Staff is very friendly and kind! Will be a returning customer!! Love their food!!

Omg the best everrrrrr! Food was excellent I received a Julianne's moon roll and the Dynamite roll. Both were perfection! Also Kayla was super helpful over the phone in helping me decide which roll would be best. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. Food was made quickly. I picked my order up on the way to the movies. Great choive I stuffed my pie hole hahah went back next night for more! Also when I went in the next night service was perfect and the food was yet again excellent. The decore is cute too!

The food at Sushi Gem never fails us, our server was sweet and we left feeling very satisfied!

Our usual sushi place in Surf City was closed, so we decided to try sushi gem. We will be back! Loved the salmon lemon roll, very different from rolls I have tried before. Staff was friendly and attentive, look forward to try coming back and trying more rolls.

this place was absolutely great, and the environment was awesome. it was little pricey, but it's sushi, so thats understandable.

My granddaughter and I loved the squid salad. The rolls are good but the peanut butter dessert is amazing. Oh ya service is excellent😊

Delicious sushi, & so many options. It was hard to limit ourselves to just 3 rolls, but the ones we chose did not disappoint. Coco Roll, Fantastic Salmon Roll, & Caterpillar Roll was delicious. Service was friendly & quick.

Both my husband and I love this restaurant, as well as my kids, ages 8 and 10. Staff is always friendly, and the curry is amazing! The sushi is also very good and the bang bang shrimp is a favorite as well.

Food is always hot, fresh and delicious. Sometimes you get your food fast other times its a wait. Very busy and not enough wait staff, so be prepared to get everything you want since it's hard to get their attention. Otherwise they do their best. I love anything with lemon grass.

Great food and excellent service. It's nice to find a good restaurant in Hampstead that is not fast food. Most definitely will go back. But if you order a salad, get your dressing on the side, because my salad had way too much dressing on it. My boyfriend likes his like that ,but I don't.

My husband and I are OBSESSED with this place, which is saying a lot because we are food snobs a bit. Its the only truly good restaurant in Hampstead. We order takeout from here way more often than we should but its always amazing. The Mongolian Beef is literally my favorite meal and I've never had Mongolian Beef anywhere thats even half as good as theirs. I don't eat sushi, but my husband does and he said their sushi is really good too; he likes the "In Love roll'. The service here and employees are great too!

Best sushi I've had in years!! Jamie was very helpful in making special and specific rolls. Very agreeable price for the alterations. Also, they keep their fish tank in spectacular condition.
