Pender County Library - Hampstead Branch

First time visiting in more than 2 yrs. Friendly staff, nice quiet location and easy access to the highway. I only went to use the computer and print a couple of things. Will return.

This is a great library. Staff is friendly and helpful. Take advantage of holds, loans from Burgaw as well as online ebooks to really expand your selection. Great place for kids with all kinds of fun things for them. Friends of library provide a great selection of books, DVDs, puzzles, etc for purchase as well as a section of free items.

I love my library and the fabulous folks who work there! My child and I love to go there to browse and do picture puzzles, which is treasured time away from the electronics. Thank you to the ladies and gentlemen who support this most important public resource!

Nice little library. It offers free wifi and some meeting places. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you live in eastern Pender County NC I recommend it! Even if you are just visiting the area and read a book or use the WiFi

I love the library! It's easy to go online and reserve books, but I also like to look over all the latest titles while I'm there ... so many good choices. This library has an adult book club which meets monthly online. Soon we hope to gather to discuss books in person.

This is a wonderful little library. Having just moved here from the Boston area, I was slightly dismayed when I first walked in. But almost a year later I find it to be perfectly suitable. The ladies who work the desk are every one of them, warm and inviting. The selection of books may be small, but it's adequate. If they don't have what you're looking for, ask them to order it. The non fiction selection is up to date as well. I've been able to find every book I've needed for my book club.
