Burry Chocolates

Today was my second visit and I am so in love with the chocolate. It is the best quality I’ve had in this area. I will be back. Thank you to my colleague for telling me about Burry Chocolates it was everything she said and more. Thank you for the great customer service!

An absolute must-stop any time that you're in the Surf City area. Can't recommend them highly enough for sweets lovers of all kinds.

We sadly had to move across the country last year, and we have never been able to find anywhere like Burry. So much so that my husband and I just had to ship them to us to celebrate Valentine's Day this year. The team packaged up our delicious treats safe and sound and shipped them out right away. They arrived all the way to California in perfection condition. So great to have a little piece of home here on the West Coast.

My mom and I just showed up and was barely on time before close. Super amazing customer service although we was there so late! Best chocolate. Everyone needs to try them out

This place is an absolute gem. From the second you walk in it smells amazing and you always get greeted by the most friendly staff. Was so excited to see they started selling ice cream and it’s absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend if you’re needing a little treat for yourself or need gift ideas for others.

The folks here are awesome. Like genuinely awesome, super friendly, answered all our questions, and have a super clean place. You can tell when owners take pride in what they do, and it is clear that this chocolate store takes pride. The chocolates, of course, were awesome, we went in right before Valentine's Day, and while the store was busy, they were still taking the time to be polite to everyone. we are from New Hampshire and mentioned that to them, the owners relocated from New Jersey. My sister brought a box of the chocolate covered cherries to me when she visited last week in South Fl. These were the best I’ve ever had! My husband (who isn’t a big sweets person) ate over half the box. After each bite he said, “these are so good!”. These might have to become a staple in our house. I’m visiting Wilmington tomorrow for the week and can’t leave without bringing back another box.

We have traveled to many different towns and states and try different chocolate and things from everywhere. This was hands down the best chocolate and treats we've ever had! Thank you so much to the kind lady that helped us, and for sure we will be back for more!

This place is absolutely awesome! They have the best service ever. We couldn’t make up our minds about the ice cream we wanted to take and they let us have samples of the four flavors they have. Thank you so much for such a nice experience.

Amazing and delectible handmade chocolates. Burry's has a good selection of both sugar-free and regular confections... all delicious. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere is like shopping in a quaint cottage. I highly recommend Burry's

This is the best chocolate I've had in the states!! We went in expecting to get just a little bit and we left with way more than we planned and it was so worth it. The chocolate covered fruit and the bourbon cherries are incredible!!!!

FABULOUS!! I've driven past this spot several times, but finally decided to pop in while we had family in town and WOW so disappointed I've been missing out this whole time. The maple creme is the best piece of chocolate I've ever had. I will absolutely be back!

Burry Chocolates is the ABSOLUTE best! 🤗 My husband spotted the Burry Chocolates sign last weekend, out of the corner of his eye, while we were driving back to Jacksonville from Wilmington. He stopped mid-sentence and said, "I'm sorry, but I need you to Google Boule Chocolates, or something like that, in Hampstead NC please, and it had a dark colored sign." On line I went, and sure enough, Burry Chocolates popped right up!

We drove up to Burry Chocolates first thing this morning, and MAN was it worth the 30 minute drive.🤗 Emily welcomed us with the biggest smile on her face, which was so comforting; she gave us a thorough explanation of the WIDE variety of chocolates in the store, and offered to let us sample whatever interested us, and OMG it was "love at first taste!" 😄

As you can see by the photos, we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE what we sampled, and bought a lot to bring home, which actually, we dove into before we even got out of the Burry Chocolates parking lot! 🤣 OMG we enjoyed every piece, from the dark chocolate orange creams to the dark chocolate covered almonds, and the almond bark crunch, and the dark chocolate covered orange peel, and the dark chocolate covered pecans, and the dark chocolate mints and coconut macaroons, and man-oh-man.....I guess you get my point, WE ENJOYED IT ALL!!! 😋😋😋

I am NOT a regular reviewer of things, BUT... every blue moon, when I run across something that is absolutely out of this world AMAZING in the areas of quality, taste, lovingly comforting atmosphere, and quantity for the money, I MUST speak up and say something, and THIS is one of those moments. As I began my review by saying Burry Chocolates is the ABSOLUTE best, I will end my review by repeating Burry Chocolates is the ABSOLUTE best, AND we HIGHLY recommend them to any and everybody who is looking for a little bit of Heaven on earth.

The Lord has given Brandon and Emily the awesome gift of chocolate making, and has gracefully giving them a place where they can lovingly share their gift with the world. I pray, in the name of Jesus, that He continues to abundantly bless them in every area of their lives for many years to come. 💗

Best marzipan ever. Awesome family owned business. FRESH and delicious. We stop there every time we are in town. Don’t miss stopping there if you are in the area.

Awesome handmade chocolate store! Great looking display, and large assortment of chocolates to choose from. Everything in my assortment box was excellent! I especially loved the chocolate covered cherries! The owners were very nice, and will gladly answer any questions you may have. I’ll definitely be back!

I'm here at least once a month and it's a great experience every time. I've never been disappointed and the staff is so kind. They have a big selection in the display case to choose from and I love filling a box with all of my favorites. They also make very cute gift baskets, especially around the holidays. Be warned, once you're used to this place, dove/lindors don't cut it anymore!

Amazing chocolate! It’s my go-to for mouth watering high quality chocolates! The chocolate covered fruit is top tier and every time I bring them to an event everyone loves them! Highly recommend!
