Was a beautiful space for our wedding. So affordable and you get the space for three days! Can’t imagine how we could have pulled it off with less! Stella was amazing and made it a breeze!

The Topsail Historical Building was the perfect venue for our wedding. Having access to it for 3 days was incredible. We were able to hold our rehearsal and wedding there, and the view of the water at sunset was incredible. Our contact, Stella, was a complete delight to work with. Would absolutely recommend this as an amazing wedding venue!

I loved having my wedding reception at the Assembly Building! The staff was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. It was great to be able to bring in our own vendors and have a blank slate to make it exactly how we wanted! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is interested in having their wedding reception at Topsail!

I'm from out of town and we just had our wedding here. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The Assembly building was so wonderful and allowed us access for all three days! What other wedding venue allows that? We also had guests literally flying in from all over the world, and they fell in love with the breathtaking sunset views this place has to offer. I also adore the beautiful sea themed murals in the hall itself!! This space is perfect for any wedding or special occasion!

We held a surprise birthday party here and it was the perfect location. Stella was super helpful and always available to answer any questions. They worked with us through all the COVID restrictions and always kept us informed. The venue was exactly what we wanted and it had everything we needed.

We rented the assembly building at the Historical Society for a family reunion. The facility was spacious, clean and cool. We were all very pleased with the space and how helpful everyone was in the whole rental process. We would definitely make use of that space again if we have another need.

For the past few years my family has used The Assembly Building as a place where we can all be together for a meal during our annual Beach Week. This year we had almost 70 people! This is a great place for a large group, reservations are easy, the facilities have everything you need and the people of the Historical Society are great!

I couldn't be happier after having my wedding here. Outstanding customer service, no headaches or complications involved, and budget-friendly.

Thank you to all the employees, and our coordinator Stella, for giving us memories that will last a lifetime.

The staff is simply the best. The large space is ideal for large events such as wedding receptions or family reunions. The sunset view is spectacular, we loved having our friend's 50th birthday party here. Stella Spera coordinates events and is exceptional to work with!!!!

Very beautil place. It's small and only open from 2-4pm buy definitely needs to be checked out. It has history not only about the missiles on top sail beach but info about black beard the pirate. They have a cool button to press that simulates a missile launch. It is free to get it so if you have some free time with the kids that your e trying to fill come check it out. It's pretty small but filled with history!!!

We love having family events at The Topsail Island Historical Society Assembly Building. There is plenty of parking. They have the tables and chairs and kitchen available. It works out beautifully for a large family gathering.

I attended a wedding reception here. I have to say, the reception was beautiful...but the views were gorgeous! The display of different shells was pretty nest as well. I felt privileged to be in such good company, with an amazing view, and surrounded by an abundance of history.

We go yearly for bingo. Great crowd and we get to meet a lot of new folks in excellent circumstances. Facilities well kept up, and missile museum and world class shell exhibition located within.

Escape the sun and find out all about Topsail island - Bob welcomed us and introduced us to the rooms we were going to explore. History, Project Bumblebee after WWII, Pirates, secret tunnels (there were no tunnels), every shell you can imagine, video's and more. Free! But donation appreciated. This is well worth the 30-60 minutes it will take you. And you will know where those little river rocks found on the beach come from! Try to google THAT!

Great organization keeping the history of Topsail Island alive and vibrant. They sponsor bingo every Thursday night to maintain the building. When vacationing here, our family always participates.

Love M&M Museum. Fun Island facts, great world seashell collection, nice giftshop, bingo, NC Aquarium marine education programs for kids and fossil dig! Lovely island folks who volunteer their time to keep the place running. Would likely make a nice venue for party as well (with proper decor and tablescape.)
