Jenny worked with us on a whole house renovation project. Her suggestions on the interior architecture made a huge difference to the finished product. She listens and captures the vision and helps to make all the distinctions between function, beauty and color work really well. in addition, she has a wonderful personality and is really fun to work with! Jenny, did an amazing job with a complete redesign of our beach condo. She converted a tired 1980s condo into a serene retreat! Jenny was very attentive to details and offered suggestions to enhance our usability of the space. She was great at helping vendors stay the course and ensuring the quality of items met acceptable standards. She also was proactive at incorporating small "feature comfort" elements as we completed the project. She has such an upbeat, positive personality to boot; made the process very enjoyable. We updated our kitchen by relocating a cramped laundry room to our first floor. Jenny helped redesign the kitchen for better flow and function. She helped find the right builder, cabinet maker, tile, hardware and even a custom hood! Also redecorated our powder room. She oversaw the entire project and was our go to for every detail! My husband and I worked with Jenny to update our kitchen, decorate our four seasons room and put the finishing touches on our living room. She was so wonderful to work with- Jenny is easy going, worked around our schedule, and has great communication. She would show us several different options for each piece (from places both locally and online) so we could pick something that fit our style and budget. My husband decided to re-do our blackspash himself to save money and she helped us order supplies and showed him how to design the complicated layout behind the stove. We would definitely work with her again on a future project and have recommended her to friends!

We called Jenny after she was referred to us from a neighbor. She got to work right away by finding out what it was we wanted in a new kitchen remodel. We knew she understood us when she presented the design board for our kitchen. Jenny assisted us in picking our paint colors, tile back splash, lighting fixtures as well as flooring and cabinet hardware, all of which we love. Being new to the Wilmington area we didn't know many people and Jenny was instrumental in getting us in touch with wonderful painters, flooring and drywall contractors, as well as tile and granite showrooms. We would definitely work with Jenny again and would recommend her to anyone looking for an interior designer.

Working with Intracoastal's Jenny Lackey was a pleasure from start to finish. Our bathroom renovation project required a compete gutting of the existing space, relocation of some walls and all plumbing fixtures. The limited space presented challenges and Jenny came up with creative and beautiful solutions. The design plan was facilitated by Jenny's knowledge and selection of available products and just as important, her relationships with the people who did the work. Notwithstanding the difficulties involved in completing a project during a pandemic, our job was completed in a timely fashion within the initial budget. Our bathroom and closet renovation was great on paper and after living with the results for a few weeks now, it is just as spectacular in terms of function and appearance.
