I LOVE this place. I've been here twice and both times left extremely satisfied. Their seafood is FRESH, which is sadly hard to find around here. Today I had coconut shrimp, coleslaw and hushpuppies. The shrimp was succulent, melt in your mouth, with a hint of coconut that was not overwhelmingly sweet and came with a Thai sweet chili type sauce. The hushpuppies were surprising because they didn't just taste like fried cornmeal, they had actual flavor. The inside had whole corn kernels and I think green onion, which made them sweet and savory. The slaw was ok, but the rest of the meal totally made up for it. We also had conch fritters, which again, were so flavorful and you could actually taste the chunks of conch.

A few months back we had their small steam pot which included crab legs, clams, shrimp, corn and sausage for $30(for two people). Especially with how fresh it all was(with the exception of the crab legs but they were still good), that's the best deal around the area for a steam pot.

This place doesn't look the best from the outside, but it's fresh, affordable, with an extremely laid back, non pretentious atmosphere that you need to try.

Don't let the name fool you: this is no swanky, high class joint. A popular local bar and restaurant, they often have live music. There's a nice outdoor patio where you can eat and drink right on the water. Their steamed seafood boil is delicious!

Great outside dining area, beautiful views. The crab cakes and fried okra were delish. And the margarita was a treat.

A true diamond in the rough. Don't be fooled by it's looks. A dive bar with great food. A must try in the area for good pub grub with a seafood twist.

Great service, peel and eat shrimp, and hush puppies. THIS IS A DIVE BAR, if your pretentious, don't bother! It is on the water. Great views and drink specials. Met the owner tonight and he is great! Love this place. There are two dining areas I. Addition to the deck and the bar bar area. Leave your coat and tie at home and come have a blast!

Don't expect anything fancy at this Yacht Club but if you want a really fun place to have lunch dinner or just a few drinks right on the water this is a very good choice. The food was excellent. I had the fried scallops. They were very light and fresh, just delicious. I had coleslaw and cucumber salad and both were excellent. Others in my party had equally delicious meals. Prices were great and the service was excellent, we were even able to bring our dog.

Great place with great food. The porch on the back at sunset is what draws us back every time. The fried okra appetizer and the specials are worth a try. When oysters are in season, they source locally and do a great job steamed, raw or fried. Less enthused with the farmed oysters but you have to give allowances out of season.

This place is totally awesome. First time here we docked for bad weather. Found it to be a strong current to dock in. There are no deck hands. (check your tides). Wonderful small town with a full days worth of window shopping and delicious places everywhere. (seasonal) Dining is hard to choose from. They all serve goodies..
And I have to mention Jamie. Mothers day come on the way back. She is a great asset. We received presents for mother from all over with her help.

Like the rest of the reviews don't judge this place by the exterior appearance. Food was amazing staff was friendly and funny as well as the other patrons. Will definitely eat here next time I'm in town.

Great little watering hole! Growing up in a Swansboro, I was born and bred on fried seafood with a little bit of grit. If you want 5-Star artisan seafood with a cloth napkin and a bib around your neck, this ain’t your spot!

I love the vibe here. It’s a decrepit shack but the staff is friendly and down-to-Earth. I love that I can bring my dogs inside with me too and nobody complains or bats an eye! It’s too hot outside for puppers in July but at least I can take them to the Yacht Club.

Cheap beer and delicious food! Portions are generous too. If you’re from out of town, you’ll get treated like a local here. Our bartender asked us where we’re from and we had a nice conversation about the crystal coast. She was conversing with all the other patrons too which created a really welcoming vibe.

Amazing food, great service, have an open deck outback in the sound that supplies an amazing view while enjoying what I would honestly consider the best food in 30 miles!!! Literally my personal favorite place to eat!

Oh my! One of my favorite places to eat! Not really a yacht club but a red neck yacht club lol. The food is awsome and you can eat out on the deck with beautiful views of the Swansboro waterfront. We love the service.

I have been there several times and the food and service was great. Went today Sept.4 2016 and waited 2 hours to hours for our food. Not good. But will go back when not so crowded. Haven't given up on them.

The oyster basket was very fresh as well as the shrimp on the shrimpburger. I will be back. Prices are very reasonable too. Lunch on a Friday was not crowded and everything was wonderful and more importantly, very fresh and delicious.
