A really cute coffee shop with the best staff! They have so many flavors to choose from, personally love the iced coffee with salted caramel and oatmilk. The Croissants are also incredibly light and savory.

I came in because my internet at home has not been working well and needed somewhere close to home to work and headed here because they are close by. I don't really drink coffee much but everything looked fantastic as far as coffee. I got a sandwich called The Eastern Europe on an everything bagel. The bagel was phenomenal. Also the sandwich was as well. The atmosphere was great abd had a very local vibe. I will be back. Maybe try the coffee or gelato next time.

The new older is extremely nice, friendly and much better then the previous owner. I am excited to see that changes he has made and the food is fresh and delicious. Had their new chicken salad sandwich and a coffee and it was great!

They also now carry Waxhaw creamery ice cream. I don’t have to go downtown waxhaw to get their ice cream

We love going here and getting a pastry or something for lunch. We aren't coffee drinkers so can't speak to that but the pastries are delicious and we enjoy the Mexican coke and smoothies.

Great fresh selection of pastries and sandwiches. They even have their own, unique blend of coffee beans, choose your favorite. Very welcoming family owned business, support local business, they need it during these crazy times and it’s well deserved! Zev is a great host! 5 ⭐

The coffee is really good but the breakfast sandwiches are the BEST! Bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel was SO good!!!! Probably one of the best I’ve had in the area. The pastries were also great — we tried a variety and all amazing! The owner is a really nice guy!!

Such an amazing and friendly staff there! William Bonilla has turned Java into a cool modern coffee shop. And not to mention the coffee is so good and made fresh ! Side note : icecream in a coffee shop = best decision ever 😍

Was visiting my friend and we stopped by for coffee. Had their muffins and it was delicious. Will definitely stop by here again for breakfast.

If you are in need of a coffee you MUST try their **Cloud 9**. It is absolutely amazing. My kids enjoy their treats (too many to to name) and ice cream.

Love this coffee shop! So relaxing and great product. Staff is super friendly. Small area for young kids to play. The best pastries. I mean, who doesn't love cheesecake on a stick!?

I adore this place. It's cozy inside, the owners are delightful and everything is fantastic. I had the turkey, cranberry, walnut sandwich on a croissant...it was gone so fast I didn't snag a pic. I did however capture this beauty of a Napoleon before diving in. Check this place out, I promise you won't be disappointed!

Today is my first visit and I felt blessed by a kind gentleman who offered to pay for my cakes. The cakes are delicious and the kind gesture warmed my sunken heart after so many months of hardship that I have gone through - my husband's cancer battle and the financial struggle that came with it. I don't know who you are, but I will pay it forward someday when I am able to. Thank you!

My husband and I visited recently and got some pastries. I’m very picky about my pastries. Everything was amazing! The chocolates are rich, I could taste the milk in the crème of the eclairs, and they were sweet but not too sweet. Also, this place just has a vibe about it. One that makes you feel like you’re at a Thanksgiving gathering with family.

I've always wondered about this place because I drive past it all the time. Finally decided to come in get a little work done and enjoy my coffee. So glad I came in, very friendly staff. Adorable environment. Lots of little spaces that you can just sit and do your thing. I will definitely be back. Also love the cappuccino and although I didn't partake in any of the pastries, let me say they look amazing!

Best kept secret. Maybe not a secret anymore? The homemade baked goods are bar none. I love their croissant breakfast sandwiches (baked in house) and they make the best Chai latte I've ever had. It's not a pre-packaged syrup/mix. My husband loves the Mocha Diablo latte. Great corner seating in cozy chairs with lamp lighting or table options. Also has a play kitchen for the kids.

Absolutely incredible coffee shop and bakery. The owner Zev is incredibly kind and the work he and his wife do to put out the impeccable pastries, cookies, pies and other baked goods is unmatched. We adore their shop and highly recommend stopping in to get yourself a whirlwind of delicious and beautiful handmade baked goods!!!

Great place! Good good with some fairly unique sandwich selections. Two employees were incredibly helpful and friendly, and really wanted it experience to be good. Very clean and felt safe, and they had a way bigger selection of baked goods ready to go than I would have expected. Comfortable and great local coffee shop vibe, without being pretentious.

My fiancé and I went here to try bakeries for our upcoming wedding, we were both blown away. The service was excellent and the baked goods were by far the best I’ve ever tasted. We are both very picky about cakes and flavors, no complaints from us at all. We felt to important when we left, like our presence matter to Java. We will definitely be coming back here soon. ❤❤ All our love to the owners, you’re doing amazing!

The coffee is much better than Starbucks and my favorite is Salted Caramel Latte. Enjoy delicious home-made muffins and sweet snacks, like the French Toast Muffins and my favorite sandwich is lox with toasted bagel, with all the fixins.’ You can’t go wrong at this little shop!

Incredible place! Been looking since I moved here for my regular bakery, and this is my new go-to spot. Friendly and casual and the best selection I've found. Most of the places I've tried have tarts only, or a few muffins only, etc, but they have anything you could want that comes out an oven and can be eaten for breakfast or an afternoon treat. I'll be back! Pumpkin muffin whips Panera's by a mile.
