Hilton St. Louis Frontenac

We've stayed here twice now. The first stay was nice! The room was clean and the hotel is super cute! I had requested accessibility when booking online. We stayed in a separate building from the main building, and there was an issue with the front parking area so we ended up having to walk a long way to get to our room, which wasn't ideal since I struggle with bring upright. I had to lay down about 3 times to rest of the way to the room and then again when going back to the car, so that wasn't great (or as accessible as I'd hoped), but I still appreciate the cleanliness of the room itself so I didn't complain!

Then we needed to come back to St. Louis for me to have neurosurgery. This time I called in to make the reservation and explained I needed a room close to an entrance. The sweet woman got us a room right off the main lobby. When we arrived, I laid down in the gorgeous lobby as my husband checked us in. Immediately inside, it smelled strongly of old woman's perfume. I have very sensitive sinuses and certain fragrances give me migraines (this is one of them). So we get to the room and it smells just like the lobby so I call the lady at the front desk and explain the situation. She gets us a key for the 3rd floor of the same building, but the fragrance is coming through the vents and it's up there too! So I call her back and ask if we can have the same room we had the first stay, and asked if she had a wheelchair for us to use to get us there. She was happy to move us into the same room and did have a wheelchair if we wanted it. However, she gave us a map of how to get to that room faster by parking in a different area. We didn't end up needing the wheelchair since the room was so close to that other entrance door! Yay!

This building smells like Aqua Net (there's a barber shop downstairs). I mentioned it the first time we stayed here as well. But that hairspray smell doesn't aggravate my sinuses much, so within about an hour of being in the new room my migraine was settling down and I was able to have a peaceful and relaxing evening the night before life changing surgery! Thank you, Kelsey for being so kind and empathetic, and willing to help make my stay as comfortable as possible! You're the best!!!!

Nice and clean rooms . Had the king bedroom suite. Wished the bathroom was bigger . The atrium space outside the fitness center is great. Didn’t get to experience the sauna but the fitness center is well equipped and very spacious. Convenient locale to where we need to be.

We stayed here since it was close to the hospital that my daughter had surgery at, the hotel was so beautiful, like a palace, and clean! The pool was also so nice, and the people at the front desk were professional and easy to talk to about getting checked in.

We stay here as our primary hotel when we go to St. Louis. Rooms are always immaculate. They must have the best housekeeping staff in the area. When I ever need to communicate with the front desk, they are always nice and helpful. This hotel is a great value.

I stay at this hotel often when I’m in town for work. Nice, clean hotel with top notch service!! Restaurants are convenient and pretty good food. The shuttle service picks me up at airport for stress free arrival. On my last stay, I accidentally left my iPad charging on nightstand, which I realized after the shuttle dropped me back at airport. I called hotel, they found iPad and brought to airport before I boarded flight. That is top notch service!! Thank you!!

Excellent. Just excellent. Spacious rooms. Attentive service. Great location. This is going to be my ‘go to’ Hilton when I’m in St. Louis.

Had a great stay! The staff were friendly and accommodating and the restaurant was excellent! Special thanks to the shuttle driver, David for going above and beyond!

Stayed for business. Pretty location and quite quaint. Slept well in the more quiet part of the hotel and had a restful sleep. Service for breakfast seemed harried, based on lack of staff, it appeared.

First time stay. The aroma in the lobby alone is fantastic. Rooms are spacious and elegant. Staff superb and gracious. A must stay.

This hotel is very welcoming. Easy to find, right off the highway. The staff is amazing, we had an issue with our room. The staff immediately moved us to another room. Which worked out great. We met the hotel manager during checkout, and he was super nice and made sure we were taken care of. They also have areas to rent out for weddings and parties. We will definitely stay again.

Very nice full service hotel. Rooms are a bit older but charming. Great breakfast buffet. Comfortable beds.

After I left, the hotel staff was very kind enough to ship me some items that I left in my hotel room safe, which were of great importance to me. I cannot thank them enough!

I am very critical of where I stay, and this place earned every star. Their room service was great, the staff was super helpful, attentive and proactively engaged, and I look forward at the chance to stay there again. Plenty of conveniences within walking distance, any bad review must have them confused with somewhere else.

We were here for an event, while we were here we stop by the bar and had a drink it was very nice and comfortable.

Beautiful hotel. I'm not sure why the negative reviews. The hotel is clean and quiet. I stayed in the main building. My room was huge and clean. The a/c worked just fine. I saw several reviews of musty smells, that definitely was not true for my room. The bathroom was big with a big walk in shower. There were many comments about the rooms being outdated, I thought they were perfect for the history of this hotel. The staff I encountered were all polite and helpful. The on-site restaurant was perfect and convenient. I had the roasted Amish chicken my first night and the chicken picatto my second night. Both were delicious and served hot. I had hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. The service I received was outstanding. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to family and friends.

Everything about this stay was immaculate! From the staff at the front desk, Misha, to the breakfast the following morning. The room itself was spacious and comfortable I felt like I was at home. Hilton for the WIN!
