Jumbo Jimmy's Crab Shack

The propane tank out back blew up, entire building burnt to the ground, fire companies as far as Delaware were sending tankers, water was only fueling the fire. Gonna miss that place, best crabs, the old owner was the best, never let us down. Watched the whole place go up from Red Barn Road, sad.

We found this place while driving back to NJ from DC and boy were we pleased. Right off the main road, the lady was so welcoming because we had our dog with us. She set up tables for us and got us refreshers since we’d been on the road a while. She made good food recommendations and we were very happy with our meal. Friendly family atmosphere and freshly made crab cakes, fish sandwiches and so on. They even came out toddlers some stickers to keep him busy. We really love finding places on our travels and this is one we will visit again on our way back!

Walked in and seated ourseleves, instance service and drinks, and food was about 20 minutes later. Pretty good for seafood. We sat outside which was very open and welcoming and it’s own entity and bar apart from the inside area. Service was great, thanks Tony! It looks like it had a great nightlife, will be back!

Great service at the bar. With really affordable lunch specials. Had the perfect broiled crabcake as well as pit turkey and the crab pretzel. I would show pics but I ate the food way too fast. My family went here tonight for dinner..place was completely packed as they was hosting a fundraiser for a local lady & even though all the workers was extremely busy we still was served with smiling faces and good service. Food timing wasn’t a bad wait and everything was so good. There was children teenagers adults and some elderly we sat outside at a picnic table and our baby played in the grass area behind the tiki bar while we waited. Will be going back, highly recommend if you are in the area to stop in and give it a try.

Could be the best crab cakws I've ever had. Went with the family and everyone enjoyed their meal. Add in great service and this place is a homerun!!

This place is awesome! It doesn't look like much from the outside but the magic is all inside! It's very authentic and has a very "homie" feel to it. Like it feels like one of the places your grandparents used to go to, to hang out and stuff and get some good food. The food here is amazing! We ordered the crab dip in the break bowl and crab and mushroom dish. So so good! You have to come and check it out!

I've been here twice, the first time was a year and a half ago. And I believe the menu has shrunk. But I enjoyed both meals. The first time I was inside at the bar, and had Chicken Chesapeake. The second time I was outside at the tiki bar and had the steam pot. Service outside was great, we were welcomed and got everything we needed. Tony was our server he was friendly and attentive.

We had an excellent lunch with plenty of food and outstanding service. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. They happened to have pit beef and pit ham and it was delicious. We all enjoyed the cream of crab soup as well as other entrees/sandwiches.

They were so wonderful to our large group! 16 of us came in unexpectedly and we had amazing service! Loved the crabs, they were perfect! My family is from MD & I know good crab!

We ordered the Dungeness crab to go. This was the best meal i’ve had in 2021. Amazing crab, simply incredible. Lots of meat, very fresh, and easy to make sure none was left. Good amount of butter. Great value for the amount of enjoyment and food this meal was. Highly recommend :)

If you are in the area and you are hungry, this is the place to stop to satisfy your taste buds and fill your tummy. If I lived closer I would return often. If I come this way again I will stop back in. They definitely give you your money's worth.

Definitely worth stopping in for! Fresh shucked salty oysters, super friendly staff, & relaxed environment. MANY more menu items available including fresh steamed seafood 🦞 🦀 & adult beverage choices.

Sad that this place burned down. I always said they made the best crabcakes I had ever tasted. Always stooped if going past in on 95 South.

Kaitlyn and Tony are awesome. Great bloody mary and seafood outside at the tiki bar. Definitely worth stopping by and checking out this Cecil county staple. Biker friendly with lots of parking and a laid back atmosphere.

Excellent food and great service, we travel from Baltimore to Port deposit just to eat at Jummy's!

I love this place. One of my favorite across the country. Ask for Connie or Lisa. They're both AMAZING. Snow crabs are my favorite.

Great seafood and BBQ. Laid back atmosphere. Indoor/Outdoor seating and live music on Sundays.

Daily special was a 10oz Steak, a load of shrimp, and sides for 20$. All were excellent.
