River Ridge Campground

I don't have much to compare to since this was our first "camping" trip. I was a little skeptical at first. BUT the Shoal Bass cabin was perfect. My family and I are very happy with a bed, ac, and hot showers. The showers were great and not too far. They DO have a coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge. Coffee is a necessity for us! And plenty of power outlets for our chargers. It wasn't crowded, just us, 1 more cabin and 2 rvs. Everyone was very nice! Very clean. We grilled on the grill and made smores in fire pit. My family is diverse and we never felt out of place (if ya know, ya know). Also, I have dog that doesn't like other dogs and she was very relaxed here. Makes me feel more comfortable to get her out more often to socialize.

Loved it here!!!! I highly recommend to anyone. Best campground and helpful staff. We brought our little camper and it had everything we needed. They even had heated bathroom/showers available. Love. It did snow when we were there, but that's what we get for going in January lol. We're going again in a few months when it's warmer.

Small limited camp ground. Bath house was clean and tidy. Super nice hiking trails, cabin was sufficient, but the beds mattress leaves something to be desired lol. If in a rv, has a dump station. Future plans call for a bigger rv section to be built with full amenities so that will be great. Grill and firepit as well.

We stayed here during the summer so we could go float the Flint River at Sprewell Bluff Park down the end of the road. Nice bathhouse. Had plenty of shade around RV sites. But very limited # of RV lots. Only 6. They also rent out cabins (6). Very cheap rates.

Very clean and spacious campsites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful area with access to Sprewell Bluff and hiking trails. Also, a great place to geocache.

We loved camping here. Came to go kayaking on the Flint River and this made it such a fun weekend. The campground is very small. There are only six campsites and six cabins. The cabins don’t have any running water inside but there is a bathroom with showers on site.

Awesome getaway! Level sights with amazing views. Staff is attentive and so friendly. Bathrooms are clean and warm! Hiking trails are well laid out and a variety for an easy stroll with dogs to a good workout! We can’t wait to be back!

Rented a cabin for two nights. What a wonderful place. Went in the off season. It was a bit cold but the canin was super warm . Only one other rv camper there. Whole place to ourselves. Super nice. Great staff as well. Thanks for the weekend.

There a are only a few camping spots but there are 4 person cabins available as well. 12 sites/cabins total. $35 for camp sites and $85 for cabins. The camp sites are fairly level gravel with electric and water hook ups. The cabins were climate controlled. All share a bath house. There are only 2 cabins that allow dogs with a fee. All campsites allow dogs on a leash. Use of the hiking trails and beach area on the river are included with your stay. Call ahead to reserve a site or cabin as weekends fill up. Bring all supplies you will need or you will be heading into town for them. The trading post doesn't have much more besides 20 oz drinks and souvenirs. The staff are as friendly as they come.

Nice little campground on the Flint River. Some hiking trails on site that go throughout the grounds of Sprewell Bluff and along the Flint River. You can tell the staff works hard to keep this place clean.

This place is so cute. It's quiet. Clean. Beautiful views. Comfortable beds. Each campground has it's own fire ring. The bathrooms jabe hot and cold water at yoir disposal. The trials are gorgeous and the park itself is just beautiful.

Very nice accomodations. Make sure you bring your own sheets, towels and blankets. The beds are very comfortable. The porch has a nice view of the river. Very cozy.

Wonderful park!!! Sites are large and spacious. Most sites are on the lake.

Usually it's always quiet, easy to make a reservation and not panic for a place like state parks

Our time spent at this t.v. park was wonderful. Beautiful views any time of the year.

Well maintained, area Is well taken care of.

Nice! Dead tree behind #9, though, and that's very dangerous.
