Avondale Pizza Cafe

Met up with my friend here for drinks and a quick meal as I'm passing through Atlanta. I wouldn't call it "New York pizza" but it's still good. And the service? Fabulous, friendly and attentive.

After two hours of fighting Atlanta's world-class traffic to get here, I seriously couldn't think clearly enough to even place a drink order. I asked for a cocktail, something sweet and a few minutes later, that's what I had. Something that could have been a Sea Breeze with sweet and sour that perfectly hit the spot.

With a cold drink in hand, I was able to order a slice of pizza. The barbecue is loaded - almost overloaded - with chicken and sauteed onions and cheese and barbecue sauce. I'm glad I only got the one slice because this was a full meal all by itself.

A neat little local watering hole and yes, they have more than just pizza.

All the staff are the most lovely people! The Lasagna: Garfield Approved!! The tomato sauce is just so fresh. The crispiness of the cheese and beef is amazing. The lasagna noodles are perfectly cooked. Mike knows what he’s doing here!

I little hidden jem. We just went today and LOVED IT! my sweetie was craving pizza and subs, and luckily, this place had both and a lot of other options, too. It was very affordable! 2.95 for a huge slice of pizza. My sweetie from New York said the pizza was the only pizza he had away from there that tastes like home. I highly recommend this place. This is a new regular spot for us for sure!

Been coming to Avondale Pizza Cafe 15+ years so that should tell u something. And in that time I have never had a bad experience nor service in all these Years. Food is the best and everyone I bring loves it. I really appreciate all these years of filling my belly and just the honor of being a faithful customer. I look forward to the next 15+ years and keep up the Good work!

First time here and they did not disappoint. We were greeted with awesome hospitality. Ms. Stacy and Ms. Aaron made our first experience so wonderful. Ordered 2 lasagna’s and a slice of meat lovers pizza for the toddler. Food was delicious! Annndd they have a full bar!! I noticed they cut the slice of pizza in a bunch of pieces which made it easier for my toddler to pick up herself. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be returning.

It was my visit. Sat at the bar. Had the wings and Caesar salad. Special ordered the wings and they came out perfectly! Great service and good selection of beers. Have found the local place for wings. Will be back!

Good food, good prices. Cold if sit next to the entrance. Need to build a closure door with heater to keep cold air out of the seating area or something. Owner has to experience this so they can do something about it. Customer experience is important, so dont be shy to ask.

I love this place. Pizza great & wings great. Fast service great food. I can appreciate that they have lunch specials.Seems like a well established place with regular customers. The two ladies that work at the front & waitress love them they are so friendly and just want to make sure they take care of customers. That is soooooo valuable greatly appreciated. They have both been with avondale pizza Café for quite some time.,

Cheese pizza was delicious, and their sweet tea was just right. The parking is one way so be sure to go into the entrance on the right side of the shopping plaza and exit through the side next to the traffic light.

Yummy to my tummy! Good traditional New York Style Pizza. I can appreciate their lunch specials all that you get you know they appreciate the community fair value. Kiara was my waitress very sweet! The lady @ the counter is very sweet as well! I was so impressed with the great energy & vibes. Thank You for the great customer service It doesn’t seem to exist anymore!!!

I LOVE this place!! The pizza is outstanding. My server is always very professional and pays attention to detail. The salads are also bomb! Try the delicious avalanche slice/pizza or any other great option on the menu. I've been going here for over 10 years! Never disappointed.

I love coming here!!! Me and my brother Big Mike always eat here. Great food and drinks and super awesome staff. Like a home away from home

Upon entry, I have always been acknowledged right away or server takes order in a timely fashion. Needless to say, there is no time to complain.

Normally I go to Savage Pizza down the street for my pizza fix. Decided to try something new and was not disappointed! Very good and tasty!

Great lunch special. 2 one topping slices and a drink for $6.99. Crust tastes like a roll. The extra cheese was a lil better. Thank you!

Yes the pizza is delicious. Environment was cool.... but My server CRYSTAL was amazing! She is high energy. Great customer service. She went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. I observed her treat everyone like this. Thanks so much.

If you want amazing pizza and a drink this is it! Service is great, not the best views if you are looking to post pics of a vibe but I could care less because that pizza was amazing. You can go down the street for scenery if you want to take it to go to the park near by. The area is great for it.
